#11: rain

When Kajimoto asks Wakato for his name, Wakato says it like it's something Kajimoto will never forget - and he doesn't.

#06: rain

Kajimoto likes sitting and watching the rain, and he appreciates Wakato sitting beside him, reading manga, even though he complains the entire time.

#16: weakness

In Jyousei Shounan, there is no weakness, only perfection.

#36: market

Apparently, there is a market for perfection, if the amount of funding Hanamura-sensai can procure is any indication.

#21: life

More than once, however, Wakato grumbles about whether this is the school life he really wanted, and Kajimoto has no answer for him because he doesn't know either.

#01: comfort

On days when the moves won't copy right, Kajimoto lays his hand on Wakato's arm and then practises with him until the moves are perfect.

#41: completion

When Wakato completes a move successfully and Kajimoto is present, he kisses Wakato, and then they practise until he is perfect at it.

#12: sensual

Wakato often wonders how Kajimoto acquired his elegance, his style that is graceful and unique - when he sees him, Wakato immediately wants to touch him.

#23: hands

Wakato dreams of lying beside Kajimoto, of running his hands over Kajimoto's strong, slender body, the morning light blooming around them as Kajimoto's slow, deep breathing breaks the silence.

#15: touch

Kajimoto's touch makes Wakato lose his mind - his fingers skim over Wakato's skin, light and obscene all at once, and Wakato arches his back, begging, yes yes yes.

#09: telephone

The first time Wakato realises that Hanamura-sensai has charms of Kajimoto and Reiji on her phone, he laughs until he cries; then Kajimoto finds one of Wakato and puts it on his phone, and then Wakato can't laugh anymore.

#25: devotion

Wakato's devotion to his tennis is second only to Kajimoto's.

#04: pain

Kajimoto has lost count of the times he has found Wakato alone in the gym, practising even with spasms wracking his hands - he says nothing, only helps Wakato to practise even more.

#27: blood

Once, when Reiji lose control and used Deep Impulse by accident, Wakato's eyes narrowed at the blood trickling down Kajimoto's cheek; Wakato didn't speak to Reiji for a week.

#18: speed

Kajimoto's serve holds a record for speed.

#32: confusion

Wakato's tennis holds the record for the amount of confusion and frustration it gives his opponents.

#07: chocolate

Wakato adores food - especially junk food - and Kajimoto has become used to kissing chocolate from the corners of Wakato's mouth.

#05: potatoes

His love of food does not run to cooking, however - once, when Wakato tried a European recipe he had found in a magazine, the potatoes turned black and neither of them knew how he managed it.

#22: jealousy

Reiji's jealousy concerning Hanamura-sensai is a deadly thing - Kajimoto despises it, especially since it's clear to everyone else that Hanamura-sensai only has eyes for Reiji anyway.

#28: sickness

His jealousy is almost like a sickness, and though Kajimoto trusts Reiji as a player, he is not quite sure about the person.

#33: fear

Kajimoto always feels his fear and worry dissipate when he finds Wakato waiting for him, his eyes bright as he grins, his racquet tapping against his shoulder.

#17: tears

Kajimoto has never seen Wakato cry, not even when he came under the wrath of an accidental Deep Impulse, but that is to be expected: perfection does not cry, for tears are flaws.

#37: technology

It is Jyousei Shounan's new technology that draws the future tennis team members to the school.

#35: bonds

It is their bond as team-mates, and their bond with Hanamura-sensai, that keeps them there.

#19: wind

On a day when the wind is bad, Wakato spends the day complaining because his hair is continuously messed up; Kajimoto dryly tells him to wear his cap.

#49: hair

When they lie together, the sheets pulled around them, Kajimoto likes to run his fingers through Wakato's hair, and it is the only time that Wakato will not complain.

#39: smile

In fact, Wakato will close his eyes, leaning into the touch, a small smile curling his lips as he drifts into sleep.

#34: lightning/thunder

The storm comes upon them suddenly, and they run down the street in search of shelter, but not before Wakato kisses him as the rain soaks through them.

#31: home

Wakato adores being invited to Kajimoto's house, even though Kajimoto's younger sister has a ridiculous crush on Wakato and tries to follow him everywhere.

#40: innocence

Her innocence is ruined, however, when she walks in on them kissing, but Kajimoto bribes her with ice-cream, and her adoration of Wakato, if anything, increases.

#08: happiness

When Wakato stays over at Kajimoto's, he climbs into Kajimoto's bed when everyone else is asleep, and they lie together entwined, and Kajimoto never wants the dawn to come.

#03: soft

Their first kiss is soft and uncertain, and Kajimoto suddenly realises exactly what he felt the first time he saw Wakato.

#10: ears

The first time their hands brush together, Wakato blushes so hard thst his ears clash with his hair.

#20: freedom

Kajimoto's shoulders suddenly lighten when he sits beside Wakato, his hand damp in his, and explains to his parents that Wakato is more than just a friend.

#29: melody

Wakato knows the best way to annoy Kajimoto is to sing the latest pop song as they practise - and for his fanclub to join in at the chorus.

#38: gift

The first time that Wakato gives him a gift, Kajimoto is silent but he blushes, and Wakato laughs, kisses him, and calls him cute - he is still laughing, later, when Kajimoto trounces him, 6-4.

#42: clouds

They sit side-by-side, staring up at the clouds, trying to decipher the shapes.

#43: sky

They stare there until the sky begins to darken.

#30: star

On the way home, the first star comes out and Wakato tells him to make a wish - Kajimoto knows his has already come true.

#24: taste

When they kiss, Kajimoto thinks he could become addicted to the taste of Wakato.

#13: death

Wakato does not fear death, claiming it to be just another stage of life and change.

#44: heaven

Heaven is the expression on Wakato's face when he comes, mouthing Kajimoto's name.

#45: hell

Hell is when another member of Wakato's fanclub tells him she loves him, and Kajimoto can feel his eyes upon him as Wkaato gently turns her down.

#48: waves

They go to Chiba to practise against Rokkaku, and Wakato spends most of the time chasing Davide through the waves, trying to out-pun him, while Kajimoto apologises over and over to Kentaro and Saeki.

#46: sun

If Wakato is the sun: bright, cheerful and energetic...

#47: moon

...then Kajimoto is the moon: calm, steadfast, and solemn.

#50: supernova

When Kajimoto serves, Wakato likes to joke that a supernova has been born.

#02: kiss

The first time they kiss after deciding to have sex, Kajimoto's knees shake as they fall back on the bed together.

#14: sex

Afterwards, drowsy from sex and the orgasm, Wakato suddenly laughs and says that at least now he knows that Kajimoto is as flexible in other situations besides tennis; Kajimoto barely resists the urge to kick him out of bed.

#26: forever

Kajimoto knows he will have tennis forever... and if he is lucky, he'll have Wakato too.
