Suoh doesn't like to admit that he ever needs comfort and at the same time the fact that he knows Akira will always be there to fight at his side is all the comfort he needs.

Akira's kisses aren't as sweet as Suoh might have expected for someone always baking, and the slight bittersweet taste of cocoa beans makes him wonder if there's more to Akira than anyone ever realized.

Suoh's always soft-spoken, never asks for anything, and Akira doesn't understand it at all.

There's no pain hidden under either smile anymore.

"Potatoes?" Akira chirps in his usual blithely cheerful tone, serving some onto Suoh's plate before his lover can even respond, and Suoh has to laugh to himself at Akira's utter determination to throw the earth off its orbit by doubling the body mass of every person on the planet.

It never rains on Clamp Campus, even when Akira's crying because Nokoru and Suoh had a huge fight and Suoh thinks that surely the sky should open up when such an angel is crying.
