Fandom: Suikoden IV
Pairing: Snowe VingerhutxLazlo
Theme set: Beta
Rating: R Just to be safe

#01 - Walking
Walking together that night, Snowe had felt uneasy until he'd handed Lazlo the torch; after that, things had suddenly become right with the world.

#02 - Waltz
Before yet another girl could ask Lazlo, the newly discovered prince of Obel to dance, he beckoned to Snowe and the moment the other boy came up, without even asking, he started dancing with him.

#03 - Wishes
He wished he could just say how he felt about Snowe, social class, family and the other boy's feelings be damned.

#04 - Wonder
Tracing the patterns of the rune of punishment with gentle fingers, Snowe looked up into his eyes in awe.

#05 - Worry
"It's time I stopped worrying about what everyone else will think of me and do what I want for a change," Snowe said as he pulled away from the sudden kiss, leaving Lazlo flushed red.

#06 - Whimsy
Being enemies hadn't stopped them from being lovers, but it sure had ruined any possibility for whimsical moments in their relationship.

#07 - Waste/Wasteland
Snowe wanted to claim that he had turned over Razril so that it wouldn't become a wasteland like Illuya, but the words wouldn't come when he stared into those angry, green eyes.

#08 - Whiskey and rum
The drinks they'd shared with the pirates had went to the heads of both boys and it wasn't long before they were all over each other, either making out or joining in the drunken songs, making fools of themselves in front of the entire crew.

#09 - War
The realization that they had not only been in a war, but on opposing sides when they had been wet behind the ears graduates a few months ago made it feel as if they were from different lands and the only connection between them had been the occasional letter.

#10 - Weddings
As Flare's wedding approached, whispers about Lazlo marrying became louder and louder; Snowe made sure to quash those ugly ideas, in a way that he prayed didn't make him like as jealous as he was.

#11 - Birthday
It was Snowe who had given Lazlo the very same birthday as himself, claiming that it would be more fun if they celebrated on the same day.

#12 - Blessing
"Well, you know guys you have our blessing," Kenneth said, face still red, "But I don't know why you thought we wouldn't give it."

#13 - Bias
The obvious bias that Commander Glen had shown towards Lazlo had filled Snowe with irrational jealousy, not just because someone was getting more attention than him, but because he couldn't stand anyone else recognizing what he had known all the long.

#14 - Burning
Looking over Illuya's ruins, Lazlo's thoughts turned to Razril and all those who were still there, particularly a certain person and he kept praying that it wouldn't all burn down.

#15 - Breathing
They looked across from each other when it was all over, the only sounds being their breathing, the rocking of the boat and the heartbeats felt through warm skin.

#16 - Breaking
Everyday since he'd become commander, Snowe knew he was going to break: after all, everyone knew he was useless on his own.

#17 - Belief
Even though so many onboard their ship still doubted him, Lazlo could never stop believing in Snowe.

#18 - Balloon
Balloons flew throughout Razril after the celebration of Kolook's defeat and when Lazlo handed him one, it made Snowe feel like they were on a date.

#19 - Balcony
The Vingerhut mansion had a balcony which the two boys would hang around for hours as they did nothing but stare out into the ocean.

#20 - Bane
When Snowe had explained to Lino that frogs were the bane of Lazlo's existence, the King of Obel had been puzzled and even a little taken aback as he remembered how his own son hadn't overly fond of the creatures.

#21 - Quiet
All was quiet as they had awaited their first naval battle, both of them still trainees, absolutely terrified by stories senior officers had told them.

#22 - Quirks
In the time they'd been away from each other, Lazlo had noticed that Snowe's smile was a little different, a little quirkier.

#23 - Question
"So since you don't want us to get you a girlfriend," Noah said as she looked back at Rene and Rita, nodding to them, "does that mean you want a boy, like Snowe?"

#24 - Quarrel
After the war, they no longer quarreled quite the same way or at the very least, when they did fight, it was with a lot more sense.

#25 - Quitting
It was hard to quit the knights, but it was also the best thing that Snow had ever done as he could know truly live beside Lazlo instead of in his shadow.

#26 - Jump
For one moment, Snowe had thought about jumping and would have too, until he realized that Lazlo was on deck; he quickly claimed that he had merely been trying to catch a glimpse of the dolphins beneath the waves instead.

#27 - Jester
Actually, Snowe knew the rags he currently wore didn't suit him at all and made him look like a clown or even the court jester, but still, Lazlo's lie meant more than he could ever articulate.

#28 - Jousting
Play jousting had been one of their favorite hobbies as children, at least until they'd been told that the Knights of Gaien didn't joust; they made sure to joust in private from then on and found they had more fun when it was just the two of them.

#29 - Jewel
Early on, Snowe had known deep in the pit of his stomach that he wasn't fit to be a lord since the only jewels he had any lust for were the ones that would stare at him so hotly when angry, so coolly when he'd gone too far and glitter so warmly when happy.

#30 - Just
There were moments when Lazlo knew he should have done the just thing and killed Snowe for all he'd done; those moments were few and far in between though.

#31 - Smirk
Kika had fixed Lazlo with a smirk before leaning down next to him and whispering, "Go over to him."

#32 - Sorrow
Why was it, Snowe had thought as he cried, that his own cowardly skin always made it through any situation intact, but the one who deserved to live died?

#33 - Stupidity
It was hard to say whose stupidity Snowe cursed more right now: his or his father's as the man threw a screaming fit, yelling that no son of his was going to lay with someone of common birth.

#34 - Serenade
Etienne's 'threat' to serenade them with a melody fit for Lord Rheinbach would have nearly gotten him punched by Lazlo if Snowe hadn't held him back.

#35 - Sarcasm
"Yeah sure Snowe, I'll pretend you didn't blush at Lazlo and I'm sure he'll really believe it was just sunburn," Jewel said with a roll of her eyes towards Paula who shrugged.

#36 - Sordid
The lord's son and his foundling brother, now apparently a distant prince of Obel, being found together in bed qualified as more than a sordid affair.

#37 - Soliloquy
He supposed that he should make some long speech in private, ranting about what agony it was to be in love with his best friend, the most selfish and spoiled brat he knew, but Lazlo chose to keep it to himself; hero's didn't rant after all.

#38 - Sojourn
After the war and before returning to Razril, Snowe wanted to go on a journey and see all the places Lazlo had, feel the same soil beneath his feet and float on the same waves.

#39 - Share
Lazlo knew that Snowe wasn't really being bullied on board the ship and Snowe knew he knew, but in the end, Lazlo still let him climb into his bed to 'protect' him from the rest of the crew.

#40 - Solitary
Out on the ocean, all alone for the first time in years, Snowe had to wonder if perhaps, just maybe, Lazlo was just as lonely, surrounded by his own ocean of people.

#41 - Nowhere
How could Snowe have just allowed him to be left in the middle of nowhere and not say anything?

#42 - Neutral
If it had been Tal, Jewel, Paula or Kenneth, Snowe wouldn't have cared as much, but with Lazlo, he had yet to learn the subtle art of neutrality.

#43 - Nuance
The many subtle nuance's to Snowe's voice, fear, anger, relief and adoration, played in Lazlo's ear like a music box during his dreams.

#44 - Near
Even though everyone thought him to be brave, the truth was, Lazlo was quaking in his boots half the time, still wishing Snowe was nearby, as he had always been when they'd training to be knights.

#45 - Natural
It made sense that Lazlo was a prince, with the way he was able to take charge of any situation and Snowe had to resist the temptation to claim that he had known all the long.

#46 - Horizon
Staring off into the horizon, Lazlo glanced at Snowe and wondered if it would be alright to put his arm around him or if the other would push him away.

#47 - Valiant
To be valiant had always been his dream, but nowadays, Snowe was happier witnessing Lazlo's heroism instead.

#48 - Virtuous
Maybe what Snowe had done hadn't been virtuous or maybe it had been, though deep down, Lazlo knew the real answer to that question.

#49 - Victory
"All right, you win," Snowe stopped struggling underneath Lazlo's weight, "I'll let you be on top."

#50 - Defeat
It made sense that Snowe had lost; he'd never been willing to fight in the first place.
