Title: Opposites Attract
Characters: Crawford x Aya/Ran
Theme-Set: Epsilon
Rating: R?

Disclaimer: They’re not mine. *sighs* At least one thing we all have in common, hm? They’re not ours... T__T
Warning: Yes, there are various...allusions and references to a m/m relationship in there. You have been duly warned!
Notes: Those two are being naughty more often than not. ...Or is everything just due to my (over-)active imagination? ~__^
BTW, I don’t think I cheated on any of those sentences. (Well, at least not consciously!) These were just way too much fun to write...even if my mind’d run away and screw with my imagination most of the time. ^_^v

#01:
Crawford likes watching Aya in motion - especially when he’s trapped beneath him, moaning, writhing in the throes of ecstasy.

#02:
No, Aya refuses to admit that it was seeing Crawford with a woman that made the redhead lose his cool and waylay the other at the parking lot, starting to French-kiss the American almost on sight.

#03:
Sometimes, late at night, Crawford thinks Aya is too young for him, way too.....vibrantly alive for all of this; then Aya wakes up beside him, convincing the older male as often and as long as it takes that despite everything, he is just old enough.

#04:
Crawford is decidedly grumpy this morning since he’s used up the last of his special blend of coffee and Aya absolutely refuses to go out in this weather and buy some, citing the feeble excuse that the only shop selling it is halfway across town.

#05:
Aya just knows his lover is up to something when all he gets at his question of „What’s wrong?“ is Crawford trying to smile innocently while walking closer, miserably failing to hide the can of whipped cream behind his back.

#06:
Crawford admires Aya’s expert gentleness in handling all flowers; after all, 'gentle' is not a characteristic one would associate with the redheaded swordsman.

#07:
"Is this one the cake Schuldig baked for us..." Aya asked Crawford solemnly while looking at the icing-smothered chocolate monstrosity in trepidation.

#08:
After valiantly trying a piece of Schuldig’s latest 'master-piece', Crawford gasps, "I’ve told him not once but at least a thousand times to pay attention so as to not confuse sugar and salt!"

#09:
Some time ago, Yohji once asked Aya what he’d wish for if he were king; looking at his lover sleeping peacefully sleeping beside him, Aya thinks that he would trade 'this' - whatever 'this' really might be - for anything in the world.

#10:
It is a slow and painful process but Crawford and Aya both learn how the two of them can share the shower without either of them getting bruises in certain places.....well, not too many of them, anyway.

#11:
He’s looking outside, waiting, waiting for his missing half to finally come back, his tears blurring the shapes outside - or maybe it is just the rain beating incessantly against the window.

#12:
A month really is a long time to wait for your lover to return from a business trip, Aya thinks, knowing that they probably won’t even make it home when he sees Crawford eyeing him at the airport.

#13:
After being together for 11 months, 3 weeks, 5 days and 14 hours, Crawford is surprised at how much has changed and yet remained the same - not that he’s counting, mind you.

#14:
Why, oh why did he have to challenge Crawford into playing "Command & Conquer", Aya fumed, mentally ranting at his conniving lover as he lay on their bed, bound and gagged, liberally decorated with chocolate sauce.
--> I think someone’s deliberately misunderstood something here. . . *VBG*

#15:
Sometimes, Oracle wonders what kind of hold Abessinian has on him to make him stay; then Aya embraces Crawford from behind, snuggling up to the taller male, leaning his head on a shirt-covered back....and Bradley just knows.

#16:
"I need you" is not something either of them says out loud; it’s simply implicit in moments like when a suddenly shy Aya offers a relaxing cup of tea or Crawford spontaneously waltzes with Aya in their living-room.

#17:
Aya once asked Crawford what it was like to have visions, resulting in Crawford making his lover see stars upon star-bursts, highlighted by meteor-showers and universes crumbling. . . which, in turn, leaves Aya limping strangely for a few days afterwards.

#18:
"Attention, attention... All passengers......the train for Kyouto is leaving!" - is all Aya can hear as Crawford grabs him and pushes him into the bathroom just as the Shinkansen starts moving.

#19:
If eyes really are the window to your soul, then Aya can’t help but wonder at least occasionally what that says about Crawford’s continued insistence on wearing glasses.

#20:
Crawford doesn’t like pictures; paintings...yes, as proven by the Cézanne in their bedroom, but pictures.....only when Aya is in them.

#21:
Upon Crawford’s admonishment of "Wise men wait where fools rush in.", Aya just tells him to shut up and kiss him already - to which Crawford complies readily, knowing that at certain times in a relationship, being a fool is almost a necessary requirement.

#22:
When Farfarello first learned of his leaders involvement with a certain non-Schwarz redheaded sword-wielding enemy, the Irishman just shook his head, saying, "....and here 'tis me they call mad....."

#23:
"child-like": like or characterisic of a child; innocent; not devious - at least according to Webster’s - Crawford thinks this fits his lover to a 't'...when he’s asleep.

#24:
"Why do you need to talk to me now, when I’m cleaning the bathroom...“ Aya wants to know, looking back at his lover while simultaneously bending over the bath tub, not getting an answer, just a Look.

#25:
Dozens of candles placed all over the room make their combined shadow dance on the walls of their living-room every bit as much and as vigorously as their combined bodies do against the counter.

#26:
"Goodbye" is something Crawford never likes to say to his lover; he’d much rather say "Hello", especially at the prospect of Aya giving him a 'Welcome back!' kiss.

#27:
When his lover says his name in a certain way, his glasses glinting rather ominously, Aya knows from his own painfaul, exhausting but ultimately satisfying experience that it’s better to hide first and ask questions later.

#28:
"Fortune’s not your friend today, hm, Aya?" Crawford asks, smirking, as the redhead reluctantly drops his boxers after their latest round of strip-poker.

#29:
"Well, better safe than sorry," Aya concludes upon disconnecting their phone, "I don’t wnat any interruptions..." while Crawford just shrugs, for once not foreseeing the consequences that action would have.

#30:
On Monday, Aya insists that there’s a ghost in his computer whereas Crawford is certain this is more due to Nagi having visited them the day before.

#31:
There are four things Crawford has warned Schuldig never ever to mess with: his lover, his gun, his glasses and his books, his coffee being a debatable fifth.

#32:
Ken seriously questions his teammate’s sanity when Aya, upon being questioned about his reasons for 'shacking up with that stick-up-his-ass American', just replies that "Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder".

#33:
"What are yo-Me and Abessinian...... Never!" he had said over a year ago - and boy, had Crawford had to eat his words since then, several times over, in fact.

#34:
Aya enjoys making Crawford sing in the karaoke box occasionally; Crawford, however, always enjoys making Aya 'sing' under him.

#35:
"This is....... sudden," Aya manages to say on the evening Crawford presents him with both ring and question while for his lover, it’s just the obviously logical next step, a foregone conclusion, really.

#36:
"Wha...no,sto-stop.....stop it, Brad, I-aah...mean it.....sto-mmpf-" is what can, apart from furious splashing, spluttering, gasping and various other, less definable noises, be clearly heard from the securely locked bathroom, a slowly growing puddle of water marking one of the doors in the hallway.

#37:
Time and again Crawford wonders why he ever agreed to go to Tokyo Disneyland with everyone, only to find the answer in the midnight-fireworks reflecting in his lover’s eyes.

#38:
Yes, Crawford had to have 'Known' that Car Wash plant would break down just when they were irrevocably caught in the middle of it, in their car, with no way to get out; Aya is convinced of this, no matter how much his smirking companion tries to convince him otherwise.

#39:
Upon coming home, Crawford usually is not torn between the question of "First Aya - or first shower?", not when Aya greets him at the door wearing a smile, an apron...and nothing else; he just grabs his lover and tugs him towards the bathroom.

#40:
Oh, Crawford and Aya each have lots of history behind them but to them, the most important thing is that from now on, they will make history - their history! - together, day for day, night after night, slowly stepping into a warmer, brighter tomorrow.

#41:
While Aya knows that his Crawford’s principal power lies in his ability to See the future, he places higher value on another, less well-known 'power' of his lover: to See his heart.....but then again, this might apply to Aya only.
--> Let’s face it: who really knows what exactly Oracle is really capable of? ^_^v

#42:
"Don’t bother to try and run, the door is locked and the windows are bolted." - upon which a sinisterly smirking Crawford receives Aya’s infamous 'Shi-ne'-glare (TM), his lover realizing too late that maybe, just maybe, it wasn’t such a good idea to rearrange the other’s drawers and be still present when Crawford finds out.

#43:
Each time Crawford doubts the existence of a God, any god, all he has to do is to look at the face of the angel sleeping beside him to know differently.

#44:
When his lover insists that "The Wall" is something worth owning, Aya wonders what exactly makes a couple of bricks so special and why anyone would bother to own such a thing.
--> FYI, "The Wall" is a rather famous album by Pink Floyd. I guess Aya’s not much into Western music... ^^;;

#45:
Schuldig show up half-naked in the middle of the night and all Crawford thinks is that the orange-headed German is, once again, simply being a nuisance; Aya shows up naked in the middle of the day and all Crawford can think of is that this will be the best lunch he’s had in a long while.

#46:
Aya likes to drive his white Porsche, but what he likes even more is to drive Bradley Crawford crazy with desire.
--> Sadistic little devil, isn’t he? Must’ve been hanging around Schuldig too long... ^^v

#47:
They both try to keep each other out of harm’s way as much as possible - and if, at times, they can’t avoid injuries, Aya and Crawford both take their own sweet time in...‘patching up' their respective other.

#48:
Crawford knows that precious little escapes his Abessinian, so he’s prepared to make as many apologies and amends as are needed when he arrives at their pre-arranged meeting-place three hours too late, only slightly tipsy, his tie crooked and his hair something less than perfectly styled --and all just because his most recent client absolutely insisted on celebrating the successful completion of their business deal.

#49:
Not that he’d ever admit it but Aya does hunger for his lover when Crawford’s away on business, for their conversations, his touch, his rare smiles, his silky hair sliding over Aya’s chest while his-well, Crawford better come home soon, Aya thinks, or the American just might find himself confined to the bedroom for the weekend again.

#50:
Crawford does not believe in much, not anymore, not after what they’ve been through, and neither does Aya but, the older male muses as he watches his redhead prepare their dinner, at least two cynics might finally have started to believe in something again, even if it is only each other.
--> Personally, I think that’s enough - but who am I to contradict mighty Oracle? ~__^
