Fandom: Final Fantasy VI
Pairing: Kefka Palazzo x Locke Cole
Theme set: Alpha
Rating: PG-13/R for yaoi and non-detailed death
Additional notes: Most of these are AU because I wrote them using a fic idea I had involving Locke having amnesia, Kefka finding him, and Locke falling in love. Then it goes away and Locke stays anyways. So yeah, AU after the World of Ruin starts.
01. Comfort
“I can’t offer you comfort,” Kefka told him right out, “but I can make you feel oh-so good that you won’t even care.”
02. Kiss
His kisses with Rachel had been soft, gentle, and full of love; Kefka’s kisses are nothing like that, but somehow, they’re even more addicting.
03. Soft
Women’s bodies, Locke had discovered over the years, were soft whether the girl’s attitude matched or not-it surprised him a bit to find that for being such a psychopath, Kefka’s body was just as soft as any of those women.
04. Pain
Locke hisses as Kefka draws the knife over his abused flesh, and he idly wonders what Celes would think if she were to see him begging for the pain.
05. Potatoes
Locke wondered how many people had ever seen their evil world dictator make a little castle out of mashed potatoes and figured that he was most likely the only one.
06. Rain
The rain falls outside, drenching the mindless cult members pacing back and forth, but they’re completely ignored by their ruler and his lover, safe, warm, and very much naked in Kefka’s bed.
07. Chocolate
Evil overlord or not, Kefka still had quite the sweet tooth, and nothing satisfied his hunger more than the sweet taste of melted chocolate eaten off Locke’s bare skin.
08. Happiness
Their coupling was anything but conventional, but Locke figured that this twisted happiness was better than pining over a dead girl who was never coming back anyways.
09. Telephone
Kefka fried the poor carrier pigeon after it failed for the third time to deliver his letter, leaving Locke to wish there was a device to make the process easier-that was the fourth bird this month.
10. Ears
Kefka might have taken over the world, but Locke still knew that he had the biggest weakness when someone nibbled on his ears-a situation the treasure hunter took full advantage of.
11. Name
“You know, Locke is a rather funny name,” went ignored, because mentioning that Kefka wasn’t exactly a top ten name either would just get him tied up for the night, which got uncomfortable fast.
12. Sensual
It seemed that those damn feathers Kefka wore in his hair weren’t just for show-they were quite sensual feeling when run up certain parts of Locke’s anatomy.
13. Death
Kefka laughed that high pitch laugh of his as he punished another town for disobeying him, and all Locke could do was ignore the stench of death and remind himself that at least they were dying quickly.
14. Sex
Locke liked to think that it wasn’t just mindless sex, that it involved emotions and love and all of that romantic stuff, so nothing made his day more than when Kefka held him close as they basked in the afterglow.
15. Touch
Kefka’s touch was far from gentle, but when Locke was honest with himself, he liked it rough anyways.
16. Weakness
Everyone, no matter how godly they were, had a weakness, and Kefka refused-refused, refused, refused-to admit that Locke was anything of the sort.
17. Tears
Celes couldn’t stop the tears from falling when they finally reached Kefka, only to find that Locke willing to die for him and didn’t even look at her twice.
18. Speed
Kefka picked up speed until Locke’s screams-oh god, more, faster, please-were the only thing he could hear.
19. Wind
Kefka cursed as the wind whipped the feathers out of his hair, and Locke had to bite his lip to keep from laughing, because lover or not, laughing at an evil maniac was a very unwise decision.
20. Freedom
Being the lover-slash-slave-slash-whatever the hell he was to the world’s leader came with certain freedoms other’s didn’t have-for example, only Locke could get away with arguing with Kefka and actually know he’d enjoy the punishment he was promised later.
21. Life
Locke was sure, absolutely positive, that Kefka had altered his memory, because there were chucks of his life that he’d forgotten involving a pretty blonde girl he sometimes saw in his dreams-but he supposed that if she was that important, he’d remember her sooner or later.
22. Jealousy
Every now and then, they’d encounter a pretty girl, Locke’s eyes would linger a bit too long for Kefka’s liking, and in the morning she’d always be dead.
23. Hands
He might have fancied himself as a god, but really, Kefka was still only human, and Locke’s warm hands running down his body made him moan just as any other warm-blooded male would.
24. Taste
His new life was nothing to complain about, but Locke craved just a taste of his old, semi-normal life and refused to take no for an answer when he asked Kefka to accompany him to dinner without blowing up the place.
25. Devotion
He stayed with Kefka even when his memories came back and he remembered everything-the war, the killing, Terra, Edgar, Celes-and if that didn’t say something for his devotion, nothing did.
26. Forever
Nothing lasted forever, but if Kefka was given the chance to keep things as they were now-being ruler of the world, having a feisty and absolutely delicious young man for a lover, various other perks-he most certainly would take the offer.
27. Blood
He licked up the coppery tasting liquid with abandon, thriving on the soft whimpers that fell from his lover’s lips, and finally Locke understood why Kefka liked blood so much.
28. Sickness
Kefka was above catching most human illnesses, viruses, and diseases, but whenever Locke gave him that look, he was reminded that love sickness could affect anyone no matter how powerful they were.
29. Melody
Whimpers, moans, soft cries for harderfastermore, all of the things he’d never admit to having said once they morning came-and all of them were the sweetest melody Kefka had ever heard in his life.
30. Star
Before the world had gone to hell, he used to have two blonds star in his dreams, but now that he was sleeping with the more masculine of the two, it was no surprise that Kefka was the only one in Locke’s fantasies these days.
31. Home
Sometimes he longed for the old world and his old home, but then Kefka touched him in that way that drove him absolutely mad, and he’d decide that being here was good enough.
32. Confusion
Locke didn’t flinch when he touched him like all of the others did, and somewhere in his confusion, Kefka decided that he rather liked it.
33. Fear
Locke was too headstrong ever to look at Kefka with fear in his eyes, even when he was being cut, beaten, humiliated-that was probably why Kefka was so fond of him.
34. Lightning/Thunder
You could see the storm in Kefka’s eyes-the thunder and lightening that threatened to take down anyone or anything in his way-and only Locke’s throaty whisper that they’d never succeed stopped him from killing those rebels right where they stood.
35. Bonds
They both knew that Locke’s struggles were for show-being tied up turned him on just as much as Kefka was turned on by tying him up in the first place.
36. Market
Locke looked at what used to be a market before he and Kefka had arrived, and was only slightly disturbed to realize that the sight didn’t make him ill as it once had.
37. Technology
With all of the technology Kefka had lying around, Locke always wondered why the older man had never used the slave crown on him before…
38. Gift
Seeing as their birthdays were only five days apart, it wasn’t hard to find a gift they could share-each other.
39. Smile
Every now and then Kefka would give Locke a real smile, not his normal twisted grin or a lusty leer, and all of his doubts would melt away.
40. Innocence
Both had lost their innocence-in all senses of the word-before they’d even met, leaving one less thing for them to worry about.
41. Completion
Once Kefka contemplated what would have happened if Celes had ended up being the one to get his powers and he’d been the “normal” one instead, and in the end, he decided that it didn’t really matter-Locke would have ended up his one way or another.
42. Clouds
The angry black clouds above threatened rain, but since Locke was even sexier when he was soaking wet, Kefka found himself heartily welcoming them.
43. Sky
The sky was dotted with thousands of tiny stars and looked horribly romantic, so Kefka gave in to Locke’s request that they watch just for a little while, you know, just because he was that nice; it had nothing to do with his hopeful expression or promises of later ways to return the favor, nothing at all.
44. Heaven
It was somewhat like heaven-he lived in a palace-like tower, he could have anything he wanted, and for all intense purposes, he was sleeping with god.
45. Hell
No matter how good things were for him, Locke couldn’t help but see that his lover was making everyone else’s life a living hell, but he tried his best not to think about that.
46. Sun
Kefka whined about the sand and the sun and how they needed to die die die, and Locke could only wonder how the hell this man had taken over the world.
47. Moon
Locke was bathed in moonlight as he writhed and panted, making Kefka’s lust for him all the more stronger.
48. Waves
Celes looked out at the waves as Cid lay in bed and wondered what Locke was doing right now-no doubt, she would have been heartbroken to know that at that very moment, the man she’d fallen for was in the arms of the man who’d separated them in the first place.
49. Hair
When Kefka woke up, his hair sticking up in every way imaginable, it was hard for Locke to remember that his lover was a homicidal megalomaniac.
50. Supernova
They moved together liked they’d been doing this for years rather than months, and when they reached their climax, the feeling was like a supernova lighting up the entire sky.
