#01 - Motion: Her sea-legs were easily found, and by now the gentle swaying of the Pearl feels more natural than the strange, sterile stillness of dry land.

#02 - Cool: Even the most scorching day eventually gives way to a blessedly cool night; she relishes disappearing into Jack's cabin and stripping away her sweat-drenched clothing to better enjoy the sea breeze.

#03 - Young: Jack forgets, sometimes, just how young his Lizzy truly is -- but the bright ringing sound of her laughter never fails to remind him.

#04 - Last: Once, dozens of clippers sailed the Caribbean, crewed by rag-tag bands of scallywags; Jack does not miss the competition, but it is rather conspicuous to be the sole real pirate threat left in these waters.

#05 - Wrong: She kisses him and he catches her by the arms, breaking away from her for her own sake: she should not waste her youth and prospects on someone like him.

#06 - Gentle: When she is tucked up against him, laying half on her side, and the golden strands of her hair feather against his chest, Jack wonders just how he got this lucky.

#07 - One: There have been women before -- many women, strumpets the lot of them -- but there's never been anyone like her for gettin' into his heart and holding tight; for all her maddening ways, he cannot imagine being without her again.

#08 - Thousand: When she makes her benchmark -- 5000 nautical miles -- he takes her to the same old tattooist in Singapore who marked his skin so many years ago... and holds her hand in anticipation of the needles.

#09 - King: King George's signature, proud and plain, beside Beckett's own: squinting at the scrawling hand, Jack Sparrow wonders how an Empire can be run by a man whose own script brands him an illiterate.

#10 - Learn: He stands behind her at the wheel, letting her get a feel for the Pearl and her fickle ways; Elizabeth grins broadly at him, interlocking her fingers with his own.

#11 - Blur: She cannot place just where his lips are, but they trace flames against her flesh, leaving her panting and dazed.

#12 - Wait: "Jack," she catches his chin in her hand, holding him still, "this is the opportune moment -- bloody kiss me or tell me to leave."

#13 - Change: A lifetime ago, she was a lady in Port Royal, fettered by conventions and corsets; now, she stands on the poop deck beside her captain and knows the blessing of the wind in her hair.

#14 - Command: Barbossa stares down at the bloody wound over his heart and Elizabeth does not stop to watch him fall to the decks of the Pearl before stepping up to the captaincy and barking orders to the crew; they jump to with no fuss whatsoever and she smiles privately.

#15 - Hold: She catches his wrist, halting the blade mere inches from her throat; "Jack," she repeats, "it's me."

#16 - Need: She writhes against the shackles, aching for more contact; her eyes plead with him to touch her, surrendering her pride little by little.

#17 - Vision: Slowly, Jack opens his eyes and smiles to see her hovering over his bedside with a whole world of fretting creasing the skin betwixt her brows: she's never been a more welcome sight.

#18 - Attention: His head snaps around for reasons unknown to him, and just in the split second before the lady hits water, Jack realises there's a lass in trouble.

#19 - Soul: "You cannot have his soul," Elizabeth meets Jones' appraising eyes with cool intensity, "because it's mine."

#20 - Picture: It is a scandalous portrait, this depiction of their great-grandmother the lady-pirate: her gown is unlaced, baring her shoulders and one breast; her hair is loose and curling and she clutches a pistol in one hand, a sword in the other.

#21 - Fool: Though Lizzy laughs and calls him a fool for the risks he took to get it, he notices that from that day forward she never, ever takes off her black pearl ring.

#22 - Mad: Running his hands through her thick golden hair, Jack Sparrow cannot help wondering what madness allowed Norrington and young William to ever let go of such a prize.

#23 - Child: Running his hands over Elizabeth's swollen belly, Jack has a strong feeling that everything is going to change now that he's due to become a father.

#24 - Now: Her eyes meet his across the crowded room full of brocade and perriwigs and the flash in them is unmistakable: I want you now.

#25 - Shadow: Sometimes, when memories assail him, a shadow comes over Jack and Elizabeth can only squeeze his hand, kiss him and whisper promises that she will be there for him when he is finally ready to tell her about it.

#26 - Goodbye: She often remembers his farewell to her -- "It never would have worked between us, darling, I'm sorry" -- and wonders...

#27 - Hide: She buries her face in her hands, cheeks burning like a brand: "You said rigging?!"

#28 - Fortune: He drapes her with strings of pearls -- black ones, of course -- and lays her down upon the bolts of silk from the hold; she looks as proud and beautiful as Aphrodite, he thinks, and remembers, too, that the love goddess was born from the sea.

#29 - Safe: Although he repects Elizabeth too much to keep her from a battle, it is still always a relief to hold her close, whole, after the canon fire dies down and they are out of the reach of vengeance.

#30 - Ghost: Tia Dalma claims Jack is at World's End, whole and himself, but Elizabeth knows better -- he has haunted her since the Pearl disappeared beneath the waves.

#31 - Book: She can remember feeling a strange sense of resonance the first time she read his name in one of the histories of piracy she had found in her father's library; when they finally met, part of her was not surprised in the least.

#32 - Eye: Elizabeth closes her eyes in anticipation of Jack's kiss... and is knocked off her feet by an enthusiastic Ragetti, who holds up his retrieved wooden eye by way of explanation.

#33 - Never: She jerks her face away from Beckett's caressing fingers, "I'll never tell you where Jack is," she spits.

#34 - Sing: The rum in her veins burns as hot as the campfire as she dances in Jack's arms, teaching him the old pirate song she has adored since childhood.

#35 - Sudden: Her fingers trail down his arm and away from the warmth of flesh and blood to find the cold iron behind him; Elizabeth acts quickly, before her heart convinces her otherwise.

#36 - Stop: "Drop your sword," she demands softly, making her choice once and for all; her voice wavers but the pistol she holds to Will's temple remains steady.

#37 - Time: Bootstrap tells of his servitude aboard the Flying Dutchman, and Elizabeth squeezes Jack's hand tightly: it is true horror to them both to contemplate spending any time at all in such servitude.

#38 - Wash: She buries her face into his neck, savoring the clean smell of him, before tying his hair back into as much of a queue as can be managed: "There, you almost look presentable."

#39 - Torn: She looks between the two men -- Jack, offering her freedom and adventure; James, offering a return to polite society and a pardon for her crimes -- and bites her lip.

#40 - History: Swann laughs aloud at the curiosity in Jack Sparrow's eyes: "W,ell," he says, "Elizabeth was always a reckless child: she liked to climb trees, for one."

#41 - Power: The crew stared at the mystic as she raised power, the air taking on an electric charge; suddenly, Tia Dalma stops chanting, throws back her head and levels a very familiar, very wicked grin at Elizabeth: "'Ello, love."

#42 - Bother: Elizabeth rolls her eyes when Jack explains that they are going to the trouble of avoiding the front entrance to the 'Faithful Bride' because he'd noticed Scarlett and Giselle... and he really didn't want to get his face slapped while he had that bloody toothache.

#43 - God: She kneels down and bows her head, the scent of incense evoking a comforting memory from childhood, and lets the tears run down her face: "Will you hear the confession of pirate and a fallen woman, Father?"

#44 - Wall: Ever since they had encountered Will and the Dutchman again, Jack has been distant with Elizabeth, leaving her wondering just what sort of strumpet he takes her for.

#45 - Naked: Removing her clothes in front of him for the first time, Elizabeth's hands tremble; whether it is nervousness or desire, she cannot say.

#46 - Drive: Gibbs repeats the orders in a bark, tossing off a deferential 'aye-aye, Captain Swann' out of sheer relief that they finally have a captain who will not hesitate in leading them on their quest to find Jack and the Pearl.

#47 - Harm: "If you've harmed one hair on her 'ead, mate," Jack growls, "I'll bloody keelhaul your carcass if'n I haveta face down the entire Royal Navy to do it."

#48 - Precious: 'Not all treasure is silver and gold,' Jack had once told young William; with William's sweet Bess, now a woman, sleeping in Jack's own arms, those words come back to him and the pirate smiles.

#49 - Hunger: Sometimes watching her causes a physical ache in his chest, and then she'll turn and smile at him and he'll remind himself why he's waiting for her.

#50 - Believe: "You're a good man," she tells him and, though he laughs aloud, she means it with all her heart.
