Fandom: CSI: Miami
Pairing: Ryan Wolfe x Eric Delko
Theme set: Alpha
Rating: Hm.. R, just to be safe.
Warnings: Slash (duh), innuendo, phone sex, the licking of chocolate off of a tummy, and spoliers if you squint reeeal hard.
Also, the bits about Ryan, his past, and his fears are made up (at least, the writers haven't told me anything).
#01 - Comfort: Eric loves the fact that all he has to do kiss Ryan and all the tension of the day fades out of his body.
#02 - Kiss: It had all started with a drunken kiss and ten years later they can both still remember the taste of whiskey with a smile.
#03 - Soft: Both Ryan and Eric proved they were far from going soft when, 10 years after their retirement, they nearly killed some young punk theif trying to steal Ryan's grandmother's silver.
#04 - Pain: The first time Eric saw the scars that lined Ryan's back he'd felt a surge of anger so strong that he'd scared himself.
#05 - Potatoes: Eric knew Ryan was Irish, hell his last name was Wolfe, and that his lover was proud of his heritage but if he had to eat one more "traditional meal" of corned beef and boiled potatoes, he was going to dump the pot on Ryan's head.
#06 - Rain: Ryan looked like a drowned rat when he arrived at Eric's apartment at one in the morning with swollen eyes, ruined flowers, and an apology but Eric had never seen anything more beautiful.
#07 - Chocolate: "You know, they say dark chocolate's good for your heart," Ryan said with a coy smile as he licked the sweet treat from Eric's trembling stomach and his boyfriend barely supressed a growl.
#08 - Happiness: Ryan had never really been happy. Eric had. So Eric decided to teach him how to do it and Ryan was ecstatic.
#09 - Telephone: Eric was shocked when his vanilla boyfriend called him at 2am while he was at a conference to have phone sex.
#10 - Ears: Ryan pretends that he hates his ears so that Eric will leave them alone, but one night when Eric gets carried away while they're making out, he nibbles on them and Ryan moans like it had been his cock.
#11 - Name: "What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet," Eric read, and Ryan just laughed.
#12 - Sensual: "Sensual massage oil?" Ryan asked with a raised eyebrow and Eric's only response was to pour some into his hand and smile.
#13 - Death: Supposedly, there were only two things you could count on: death and taxes. But Ryan hoped there was a third thing: love.
#14 - Sex: Ryan had never made love, he'd only had sex. Eric changed that their second night together.
#15 - Touch: Ryan had always craved validation through affection and Eric gave that to him every time he touched him in even the smallest way.
#16 - Weakness: To Ryan, Eric seems invincible. But Eric has one weakness, and Ryan has no idea it's him.
#17 - Tears: The first time Eric had seen him cry, he'd pushed him away because he didn't want him to see; the last time, he'd shoved him away because he was the cause.
#18 - Speed: Eric has never stopped feeling guilty for comparing Ryan to Speed for all those years, just as Ryan has never stopped feeling the shadow of pain it caused him.
#19 - Wind: The wind whipped Ryan's angry words away before they reached Eric's ears so he did what he understood and went over to his crying lover and kissed away the pain.
#20 - Freedom: As Eric strokes his back and calms him down, he's never been so grateful for the freedom from his Obsessive Compulsive Disorder his boyfriend's presence gives him.
#21 - Life: "Life begins at conception! God punished them for committing murder," the angry protestors screeched as Ryan and Eric went into the charred remnants of the abortion clinic, and Ryan snorted softly despite the tears prickling at his eyes; That belief was the only reason he was here right now, his father had told him that many times over.
#22 - Jealousy: Eric was not a jealous man, he never had been, but as Doyle flirted blantantly with Ryan, the green eyed monster threw its head back and roared its anger to the world, especially at Doyle.
#23 - Hands: "Oh God, more, more, more," he moaned as Eric's hands roamed his body, finding every spot that had ever made Ryan so much as quicken his breath with their skillful mapping of his pale skin.
#24 - Taste: Ryan tasted of honey and cream and a little bit of danger and as Eric kissed him he found himself addicted to Ryan Wolfe's unique flavor.
#25 - Devotion: Ryan didn't need a fancy ring or something extravagant to know that Eric loved him but the engraved silver ring was a show of devotion he'd never expected.
#26 - Forever: Ryan knew it would be for forever when Eric found him doing the laundry at 4 in the morning after an OCD attack and just helped him sort the darks from the lights.
#27 - Blood: Ryan's face was covered in blood as Eric raced him to the hospital and Eric prayed, "Oh God, don't let me lose him like I did Speed."
#28 - Sickness: When Eric got sick, it was with the same flu Ryan had and Calleigh snickered as he scowled at her and sniffled.
#29 - Melody*: As his cell phone trilled out "I Just Called to Say I Love You" in the middle of a crime scene, Ryan flushed from the tips of his ears to the tips of his toes and swore he would get Eric back for this as Calleigh and Alexx looked at him with wide eyes.
#30 - Star*: So when Eric's cell sang "Shining Star" by the Manhattans a few days later the moment he stepped into the DNA lab, all he could do was laugh.
#31 - Home: Ryan had always thought the cheesy expression "Home is where the heart is," was for women and sappy guys but when he came home to see Eric sitting on the couch and reading, he knew it was true.
#32 - Confusion: Eric came home one night to an empty house, all traces of Ryan gone except for a two word note: "I'm sorry," and all he could think was "What did I do?"
#33 - Fear: Ryan was terrified that Eric would find out about his past someday, that he would stop letting him brush off the questions about his father and his mother, and that he would finally realize what a mistake Ryan was, just like everyone else had.
#34 - Lightning/Thunder: When Eric yelled during an argument, Ryan gave as good as he got even though it reminded him of the thunder that terrified him as a child.
#35 - Bonds: Eric drew the knife across his palm gently and then moved to do the same to Ryan, who looked at his lover with the utmost trust and love shining in his eyes. He knew this was something they could never take away from them, an unbreakable, untouchable bond.
#36 - Market: Ryan's scowl turned into a smile as he watched the busty blonde's face fall after Eric told her he was "off the market".
#37 - Technology: "How is it that they can figure out how to update a computer every six months but their way of thinking only updates every thousand years?" Ryan asked bitterly after turning off the TV and throwing the remote down and all Eric could do was shake his head and press a kiss to his temple in support.
#38 - Gift: Despite what Ryan thought, Eric knew he was the greatest gift he'd ever gotten.
#39 - Smile: Eric loves Ryan's smile but he has no idea of the years of wearing braces he'd suffered through to get it.
#40 - Innocence: As Eric watched Ryan sleep, he wondered how someone so damaged, so mistreated by the world, could be so innocent.
#41 - Completion: Ryan was broken and Eric was fractured but their pieces fit together perfectly when they were together.
#42 - Clouds: Ryan shivered as he watched the ominous black clouds darken the usually bright Miami sky and Eric wrapped an arm around him, holding him close as if he would protect him from nature itself.
#43 - Sky: The dark sky matched the look on his lover's face and Eric knew he was in for a night or three on the couch for coming home so late.
#44 - Heaven: He wonders, as he stares into that too bright light that beckons to him, if Eric will care if he dies. A moment later, it doesn't matter because he's stepping into the warm embrace of his mother's arms and the light fades from his bright hazel eyes.
#45 - Hell: He watched them take her under their wing, treat her like she belonged, train her the way he should've been trained, and decided that it was the very definition of Hell- especially when Eric began to flirt with her all over again.
#46 - Sun: Eric's skin glistened in the sun as he surfaced from the dive and Ryan's mouth went dry; his lover had no idea just how good he looked like that.
#47 - Moon: Ryan's pale skin was an almost silver in the moonlight and Eric felt a smile curl to life on his lips at the beautiful sight his boyfriend presented as he lay sprawled out on their bed, sleeping gently.
#48 - Waves: Every time Eric's head disappears beneath the water, Ryan worries- not because he doubts Eric's ability as a diver, but because he knows just how dangerous it can be.
#48 - Waves (alternate): Sometimes, Ryan thinks their love is like a tidal wave, snatching him off dry ground and pulling him out to sea.
#49 - Hair: Eric loved Ryan's hair; short, shaggy, or inbetween it felt like rabbit fur between his fingers and Ryan loved to have it touched, so they were both happy.
#50 - Supernova: Ryan and Eric's affair was like a supernova: brilliant, beautiful, and all too short.
#50- Supernova (alternate): As fireworks exploded behind his eyes, he knew how a supernova felt just before it collapsed in on itself.
#50- Supernova (alternate): Eric knew Ryan was a bit of a dork, but when he found a forgotten comic book on the bed one morning, he couldn't help but laugh- "Supernova?" he asked, and Ryan blushed and snatched it away from him, scurring off to put it away.
