Fandom: Jak and Daxter
Pairing:Kiera Hagii/Sig
Theme set: Beta
Rating: PG

#1 Walking: It was when Kiera stopped walking that she began to feel lost.

# 2 Waltz: Dancing had always made Sig dizzy: now when he watched Keira, he got dizzy all over again.

# 3 Wishes: When she was younger, her daddy had always asked her what she wanted for her birthday; now she knows better then to say “Sig.”

# 4 Wonder: When the girl came in, dripping wet and frozen, Sig only had time to wonder how long it would take before the city ruined this poor girl before leaving; now as he watched her fix his zoomer, he wondered what it would be like to kiss her.

# 5 Worry: It only took a sharp breath or the smallest of winces before she’d spend all night watching the door for his return.

# 6 Whimsy: It had been the hottest summer anyone could imagine; now as the rain fell, she pulled him into it, laughing.

# 7 Waste/Wasteland: “Keep her safe and close and I just might reconsider killing you; anyways, it’d probably be a waste of ammo, that girl loves you like anything.”

# 8 Whiskey and rum: He handed her a glass, she accepted and drank, the blanket around her shoulders, the rain still wet in her hair.

# 9 War: She whacked him with a pillow, he retaliated and soon the hideout was filled with feathers.

# 10 Weddings: Tess and Daxter’s was a beautiful one.

# 11 Birthdays: He didn’t remember his anymore, which was odd, because it used to be the only day worth remembering.

# 12 Blessing: “Oh, Kiera,” Tess sighed when she told her of Jak’s silent, turned back.

# 13 Bias: She walked angrily away, leaving Jak behind; just because they both were her friends didn’t mean that she couldn’t think Sig was a better shot.

# 14 Burning: The day the forest burned down was the last day they denied it.

# 15 Breathing: It was hard sometimes, when Sig and Jak were gone, to have no one to tell her to keep breathing.

# 16 Breaking: There was blood on his arm where the zoomer had cut him, the sound of breaking metal fresh in his ears.

# 17 Belief: It was getting harder and harder to believe that Sig was ever coming back.

# 18 Balloon: “Want one?” Tess gestured at the brightly colored balls of air.

# 19 Balcony: When she was younger, Kiera had fallen off the balcony at her house and Jak had caught her; now, as she tumbled down, she saw Sig waiting with his arms outstretched.

# 20 Bane: Torn had thrown a pillow at them when he saw them kissing in the hideout; because he wasn’t happy, nobody else could be.

# 21 Quiet: The Wasteland was the loneliest place she’d ever been; it was also the quietest.

# 22 Quirks: It was like Daxter had just discovered his tongue again; he stuck it out jokingly whenever he saw them together.

# 23 Question: It was the one question she didn’t want to ask; it was also the only question left to ask.

# 24 Quarrel: Kiera stormed out, mad as hell; for a brief second Sig considered shooting her.

# 25 Quitting: “You can’t quit, baby; not when we’re so close.”

# 26 Jump: They never talked about Jak’s would-be jump off of the stadium roof; but Sig saw the thinly veiled concern in her eyes every time Jak passed by.

# 27 Jester: Daxter’s outfit clashed perfectly with his orange fur; his nickname would never be forgotten, they swore, still giggling.

# 28 Jousting: The zoomers were this close to hitting her.

# 29 Jewel: He never really got all the metaphor about jewels; anyways, you didn’t see many in the Wasteland.

# 30 Just: It was just enough to keep her going, although even that seemed hard in the end.

# 31 Smirk: It was a long time coming, but Jak finally threw back his head and laughed instead of his customary smirk.

# 32 Sorrow: Damas had been his oldest friend; at the funeral, he watched from the throne that would never be rightfully his and clutched Kiera’s hand.

# 33 Stupidity: Daxter’s never bothered them.

# 34 Serenade: Jak hated singing, so it was a big deal when he joined Sig and Daxter in the birthday song.

# 35 Sarcasm: Torn normally dripped sarcasm whenever he saw Kiera; but for once, he was silent and just sat there, patting her on the back as she sobbed.

# 36 Sordid: Sig wasn’t normally the type to gossip; but he was drunk and soon he found himself sharing the whole, sordid tale with Jak as he called for another drink.

# 37 Soliloquy: It had never mattered that Jak didn’t like her, she had like him enough for the both if them; but now Jak was gone, and Kiera was standing in the rain outside of the Hip Hog Heaven Saloon.

# 38 Sojourn: “What the hell does that mean?” Sig asked, looking back and forth between Tess and Torn.

# 39 Share: Torn patted the bed next to him and Kiera accepted gratefully, even if it was weird because Torn had never offered to share anything with her before.
# 40 Solitary: The garage did get lonely sometimes.

# 41 Nowhere: Spargus was like nowhere Kiera had ever been before; and yet in a way, it reminded her of Sandover.

# 42 Neutral: Nothing was ever neutral; it was always us or them.

# 43 Nuance: It was all the little things that no one else ever noticed that made her special to Sig.

# 44 Near: “Please just stay here, Sig,” she wept as she pressed her face against his chest, “Please.”

# 45 Natural: “How the hell do you shave like that? It can’t be easy,” asked Kiera as she circled Damas’ shaved head.

# 46 Horizon: The first time she saw the sun dip down beneath the horizon was the first time she’d ever been to Spargus; it was altered, though, by the gravestone casting a shadow in front of them.

# 47 Valiant: It was a good effort, but in the end Sig just let himself cry.

# 48 Virtuous: Innocence didn’t sit well with Jak anymore; Kiera quickly found that it didn’t do much for her either.

# 49 Victory: She finally admitted that winning Sig had taken a lot from her; more than she thought she’d be willing to give up.

# 50 Defeat: Kiera took one last look at her father’s defeated green face before turning and letting Sig carry her home.
