Notes: If there is a * next to it, it’s part of a wedding series. :3 Wedding includes stuff after it..like..honeymoons and such. ...and Shino’s a bit OOC on some of these. I kind of..ran out of ideas on some of ‘em. Sorry about that. u.u;
#01 - Ring *
He paused upon seeing the ring in the window, but shook his head and continued on; those rings weren’t anywhere near good enough for his Hinata-chan.
#02 - Hero
Her hero may have been Naruto at first, but in the end it was Shino who won her admiration - and heart.
#03 - Memory *
Even the slightest mention of a honeymoon brings back memories from her own honeymoon with Shino - and she blushes bright red and faints every time she remembers.
#04 - Box *
And as Shino looked upon the sight of his wife holding their newborn son, he decided that not all gifts came in boxes.
#05 - Run
“AHAHAHA! Just wait till I show these to the others! Wonderful blackmail,” Kiba called over his shoulder, clutching a camera in his hands; Shino just sighed and said, “I might as well give him a head start.”

Shino surveyed the wreck of a living room and almost asked himself why he’d had children to begin with.

When he first met her, Hinata reminded him of a butterfly’s wings - beautiful, yet untouchable.

She wasn’t sure why everybody thought he was cold - after all, she had slept next to him on many missions, and he was actually quite warm.

When Shino saw the Oto-nin attack Hinata, he lost it; afterwards, Kiba swore up and down that Shino turned red and ripped the enemy to shreds.

After his bachelor party, Shino swore he would never drink again; belting out to the karaoke version of ‘Like A Virgin’ alongside Neji Hyuuga and Rock Lee was not an experience he was keen on reliving.

He always wondered what compelled him to be out there in the forest in the middle of the night, and every time the image of the pale-eyed Hyuuga heiress dancing on the water would come to mind.

“Son, you know you can’t see the bride for a day before the wedding,” his father had told him; he was hard pressed to resist the growing temptation.

He knew she always had her gaze fixed upon Konoha’s blonde-haired Kyuubi boy, and he desperately wished she could see that he looked at her the same way.

She smiled at him and took his hand, leading him out onto the dance floor; he threw caution to the wind and mimicked the other couples who were holding each other close and swaying back and forth to the music.

She hadn’t expected his hair to be so soft; it felt like silk under her fingertips.

He never understood why she insisted upon wearing that bulky jacket of hers when they were genin - it only covered her beauty.

“Aburame - you better not hurt Hinata-sama, because if you do, I’ll be forced to step in - that’s not a threat, it’s a promise,” Neji said, but the glint in his eyes told Shino that he trusted him.

And as she leaned her head on his shoulder and intertwined her fingers with his, he had to use his free hand to pinch himself - just to make sure this wasn’t another one of those dreams that would constitute a cold shower when he woke up.

Her eyes and gentle personality drew him in like a moth to the flame.

While her father only saw failure in the Hyuuga heiress, Shino saw potential and knew that she would be a great kunoichi someday.

He couldn’t help it - the sight of his canine-loving teammate running around with the seat of his pants on fire made him chuckle; the sound of his laughter caused Hinata to blush slightly, though she later blamed it on the smoke.

She was thankful she met him, for he taught her the true meaning of strength.

It was only with her that he felt comfortable taking off the sunglasses and the jacket which masked his emotions from the outside world.

“Oh, how the mighty have fallen,” Kiba whispered to Akamaru, his eyes on the blushing Aburame boy who was giving Hinata a flower.

“Oh dear..Shino-kun, I believe we have forgotten something; Father is still unaware of our relationship-” she was interrupted by a groan from her boyfriend; “Kuso..I’m dead meat, aren’t I?”

As she stepped into one of the many gardens at the Aburame clan’s compound, Hinata felt a distinct difference about the place itself - as if it were a different world entirely, where she could be herself and not the heir of a prestigious clan, and where she could love whomever she chose.

The first time she saw him without his coat on was at a formal ball arranged by the Hokage herself; coincidentally, it was the first time he saw her without hers.
#35 - Fever
To say that he was mildly surprised to awaken to Hinata sitting by his bedside saying that he had a fever was a gross understatement.

The first time he heard her laugh, he could’ve sworn his heart stopped.
#37 - Lies
Her father lied to her, Shino had said; She was not worthless, and she really had become a great kunoichi.

To him, the hours before the wedding seemed to drag on forever, but Kiba reminded him that it had, in fact, only been two hours.

He had no idea how she did it, he decided as he scrubbed his son‘s crayon masterpeice off of the wall - the life of a shinobi was hard, but being a mother and a shinobi had to be overwhelming.

Hinata loved the shiver that traveled up her spine whenever he whispered in her ear.

He loved her, even though she thought she loved Naruto; it was for that reason that he would wait to reveal his feelings for her.

He didn’t care if they sat and gossiped about him; it was when they brought his Hinata-chan into the mess that he got irate.

“I love you,” he said, taking off his sunglasses and allowing her to see the emotions playing out in his eyes.

When he’s off on a mission with his ANBU teammates and is faced with a difficult situation, all he has to do to keep going is close his eyes and remember her smile.

As she put on his sunglasses (she couldn’t really see why he liked them so much), he was immediately reminded of an eclipse - the black sunglasses couldn’t hide her beautiful eyes.

When their lips met, her body seemed to forget the concept of gravity - she felt like she was flying.
#47 - Highway [I really hated this one. <<; Really, really did. I ran out of ideas on this one.]
Ino was known to her friends as the ‘information highway’ because she knew everything about everyone’s relationships; Shino hadn’t known that, and when Ino saw him holding hands with Hinata, you can bet the whole village knew about their relationship.

She figured most people were scared of him because everything about him was mysterious to them, and people tend to fear what they do not understand; however, she couldn’t remember a time when she hadn’t felt completely safe around him.

“Honey, you know better than to lock your knees..you passed out!” Hinata said from above him; Neji still smirked and decided to do the groom a favor and not tell his bride-to-be the real reason he fainted.

Hinata slowly made her way down the aisle to where Shino awaited her, and Neji couldn’t help but smirk at the fact that the groom had momentarily forgotten how to breathe.
