{Legend of Zelda} Link x Ganondorf

Aug 06, 2007 23:34

Fandom: Legend of Zelda

Pairing: Link x Ganondorf

Theme set: Delta

Rating: PG - mild R

Notes: Slash ahoy, mates! There are a few things to assume here: Link is older (not a child), and this was written with Ocarina of Time in mind. Enjoy, and please feel free to feed the comment box! It is very hungry.

#01 - Air

Link was such a quiet entity that, had he not started such trouble, Ganon would have mistaken him for a draft.

#02 - Apples

Dark fingers held Link fast, running thumbs over the apples of his cheeks while Ganon thought that although he could snap the boy’s neck if he wanted, there were better uses for him; though his blue eyes spoke of defiance, what was the harm in keeping him alive?

#03 - Beginning

Of course, at the start of it all he’d never thought such a silly, unassuming boy would turn out to be a rotten killjoy.

#04 - Bugs

Insects, like the spider Link held on his hand, often skittered by in the dungeons, and he was thinking of how alike these creepy crawlies and Ganon were and smiled when he told it, “You’re much more handsome.”

#05 - Coffee

Link recognised coffee-coloured skin as a mark of the Gerudo and found it lovely on Nabooru and her desert bandits, and, grudgingly, even appreciated it stretched over the muscles of his enemy.

#06 - Dark

There is no question that Link hates Ganon’s castle, his dungeons, his purpose; all are dark and so, obviously, he also hates Ganon himself.

#07 - Despair

Link remembered the task that lay ahead of him when his eyes locked with Ganon’s and sighed, because this would certainly complicate things.

#08 - Doors

Link is taken to Ganon’s castle on whims, and the doors are locked for days at a time until Ganon tires of him.

#09 - Drink

The Evil King forces another kiss out of the blond, tasting the fresh streams Link relies on for nourishment.

#10 - Duty

As King of Evil, Ganon must only ever do things that will reap him a reward; if he is going to spend so much time concerning himself with the boy, he may as well get something out of it.

#11 - Earth

Ganon knows when Link enters the Forest Temple and so sends his phantom and, later, a message; he asks about Link’s status, receives no answer, and knows that Link is doing just fine.

#12 - End

Ganon’s lengthy, armoured body is the same shape in Link’s mind as their affair: a circle…for neither have an end.

#13 - Fall

“Death or me” was an interesting choice until Ganon lost his patience, and, to the King’s smug amusement, Link decided in favour of the latter, lest Ganon actually let him go, to fall into the flaming innards of the Crater.

#14 - Fire

It’s so very cold in Ganon’s dungeons; all Link has is a bottle of cool blue flame, and the irony almost kills him.

#15 - Flexible

Archery, running, horseback riding, and general questing keep Link very limber, Ganon discovers, as he skims his fingers over the tanned flesh of Link’s stomach and admires the beautiful arch the boy makes.

#16 - Flying

Occasionally Link is in the position to dictate terms and restrictions with Ganon, and it feels like the difference between flying downwards and falling.

#17 - Food

The fairy boy’s growling stomach spoke highly of the delicious feast before him, and even though it was Ganon’s grinning face looming over the table, and even though it was all probably poisoned, Link sat down and thought maybe just this once.

#18 - Foot

Though his suspicions of poison were correct, Link could not know it, because at the moment his unconscious body was being seized by the ankle and dragged from the table to Ganon’s bedroom.

#19 - Grave

The sex is both painful and euphoric, and so rough it feels to Link as though every thrust brings him closer to being six feet under.

#20 - Green

The townspeople were frightened that Ganon would burn their homes or terrorise their families; Link bristled with envy and thought, is that all?

#21 - Head

When he places his hands on Ganon’s head to try and push him away, he is daunted by the solidarity of it, even moreso when the King’s fingers run through his hair and he feels fragile as an egg.

#22 - Hollow

Compared to when he fights, Link’s blue eyes are empty as glass when he is with Ganon, and Ganon knows he will have to fix that.

#23 - Honour

Ganon shows a surprising amount of honour when he tells Link that their episode isn’t over until the blond has come as well.

#24 - Hope

He’s fairly sure he’s never going to win with just his bare hands, but Link struggles and kicks and hits and bites and fights, because someday he might just be the victor.

#25 - Light

Ganon didn’t understand why everyone held the light in such high regard; after all, it was in the dark that the blue of Link’s eyes was so sharply luminescent and his pain so wonderfully evident.

#26 - Lost

In retrospect, Ganon should have known Link’s home would be as frustrating as the boy himself; no matter where he went in the blasted forest, he always ended up exactly where he didn’t want to go.

#27 - Metal

It’s very silly that he would rely on it, because even among his tunic and leggings and soft cloth belt, would his belt buckle really prove to be a threat to Ganon’s purposeful fingers?

#28 - New

The monsters, temples, and challenges have worn in their ability to frighten Link, but the surge of adrenaline he feels when Ganon’s hands seize him is always fresh.

#29 - Old

The desert holds many grains of sand so old that they remember a time before Ganon and, letting them fall through his fingers, Link is somewhat relieved.

#30 - Peace

It is the dead of night and Ganon sleeps beside Link, who enjoys the warmth and feeling of the muscles around him, and for once he can because all is still, and Ganon is best when he isn’t awake.

#31 - Poison

Link doesn’t notice that the fairy he’s captured is a little redder than usual, so when he’s knocked out cold Ganon can finally take him to the castle, for once without a fight.

#32 - Pretty

“If I looked as good as you, I could run a different kind of business”, the hag in the ghost shop told him once; as Ganon lifts his face and prizes it, as he is wont to do, Link wishes it weren’t so.

#33 - Rain

Link hopes for rain, because rain causes people to cancel their activities-but Ganon’s from the desert, where it never rains, and he never cancels.

#34 - Regret

Just as he was beginning to think an unshackled Link was a good idea, nails carved into his face like razors, drawing blood.

#35 - Roses

All those years ago, in the midst of Zelda’s blooming garden, Link saw Ganon in person for the first time, and it was probably the only time he ever laid eyes on the Gerudo without flinching.

#36 - Secret

It’s not something Link wants publicly announced-the only time he ever begged Ganon for a release that had nothing to do with locks or chains.

#37 - Snakes

When Link wakes, he first thinks he’s being attacked by serpents, until he realises they are only Ganon’s fingers crawling over his bare chest.

#38 - Snow

From the amazing view at the top of Ganon’s tower Link is startled to see a mist of frost and snow hovering over Zora’s Domain and, as he tends to do when he discovers another of Ganon’s curses, Link puts up one hell of a fight and is soon riding away into the east.

#39 - Solid

It’s nice to know, though, that his magic is infinitely stronger, and when he really wants to, without aid, with only his strength and body, he can overpower Link before either draws a breath.

#40 - Spring

Often Link is healed by and converses with the beautiful fairies in their springs, and it makes Ganon see red because the winged fools have never once even shown their faces to him, a great and powerful king.

#41 - Stable

Link is startled by the large shadow that invades the entrance of the barn, and within the minute Epona looks up and wonders where her master has gone.

#42 - Strange

Ganon supposed it wasn’t all that odd to want to strip one’s enemy down and learn all there is to know about him, but sometimes he doubts its sensibility, and sometimes he knows Link is having the very same misgiving.

#43 - Summer

It felt like summer in the tall tower of Ganon’s castle, with an amber glow issuing from the stained glass windows; but, contradictory to summer’s free nature, Link was also in chains.

#44 - Taboo

In the desert there were many suitors Ganon desired, and a fewer number he genuinely liked, but never in the light he sees Link-with such a bite of hate that it becomes lust.

#45 - Ugly

Ganon is always, always ugly on the inside but, as Link spends inordinate amounts of time with the Evil King, occasionally he exposes an outside that is not so much.

#46 - War

Link apparently thought he was losing all of the battles, and of course he would, because his victories were the ones he was unaware of-the ones he waged against Ganon’s Better Instincts.

#47 - Water

In the ocean there are no walls to press your back against, a vantage point at which to watch the looming sharks; Link feels the same way about his endless chase with Ganon-always running, never hiding.

#48 - Welcome

The fairy boy acts as though every time is the Last Time, but Ganon’s expression as he twirls the shackles says that Link is always welcome to stay.

#49 - Winter

When the days get cold, Ganon actually keeps Link in his room rather than the dungeons, because having the boy down there would be a waste of kindling.

#50 - Wood

With his last thought and the bite of Link’s sword on his skin, Ganon laments that he did not foresee his death at the hands of a blond fairy boy with a wooden shield and a heritage in a forest of children-but that was just it: who could have foreseen that?!
