Fandom: Super Mario
Pairing: Mario Mario/Princess Peach Toadstool
Theme set: Beta
Rating: PG-13 for violence and suggestiveness. Otherwise, mostly fluff.
#01 - Walking
It was a little odd, she had to admit-Mario probably wasn’t used to walking anywhere unless it was to an adventure or a tournament-but either way, Princess Peach loved her time alone with him.
#02 - Waltz
The plumber took her hands, and it was one-two-three, one-two-three-he wasn’t tall enough to hold her, but they managed in other ways-suddenly he was taken by the arms and literally swinging in midair, the princess’s smile as warm as the chandelier lights.
#03 - Wishes
The Star Spirits nodded, a familiar wish from a familiar princess echoing their halls-it will come in time, dear princess… it will come.
#04 - Wonder
Mario’s eyes widened the first time Peach had tossed the Psychebomb-it was a wonder he and Bowser hadn’t been blown out of their misery yet.
#05 - Worry
The princess hugged her knees, fighting hot tears as she listened to the Koopa King’s triumphant laughter-what if Mario couldn’t come, what if he didn’t make it-what if it was too late?
~
#06 - Whimsy
Peach clapped her hands in delighted thought, sprinkling a pinch of this and a pinch of that-Mario will realize this is no ordinary cake!
#07 - Waste/Wasteland
The Mushroom Kingdom was a mess of gray: with straw for grass and thorns for fruit, the sky hung in purple clouds, and should anyone step near, you’d breathe in the spores of the poison mushrooms-what was once the Mushroom Castle wrought cloaked in black, and Mario and Peach stood helpless outside their land-the princess knelt to the dirt, burying her eyes in her gloves as a cry of sorrow wailed from her lips; her home-no-their home was destroyed.
#08 - Whiskey and rum
"Mario… that’s enough Chucklehuck Cola for you."
#09 - War
The relations between the Mushroom and Beanbean Kingdoms were growing strained, but he didn’t think it could end up like this-he knew Luigi was hurt, and the princess too-the plumber knew that she had the burden of the kingdom on her shoulders, and needed all the support she could get-Mario clutched her hand tightly, and Luigi the other-they would protect her no matter what it takes.
#10 - Weddings
With those two words, the Mushroom Kingdom rejoiced.
~
#11 - Birthday
"Mario, perhaps you’d want something SPECIAL for your birthday… chocolate cake!"
#12 - Blessing
Wherever "Brooklyn" was, Peach knew one thing when the Mario Bros. first came to rescue her-from there emerged her guardian angels.
#13 - Bias
Peach preferred NOTHING but pink, so it was a surprise for Mario when she arrived in blue, her golden hair mixing with the dress like a blueberry blossom.
#14 - Burning
Mario and the gang walked carefully within the Barrel Volcano-he offered a hand to the princess and pulled her through, to prevent her dress from being caught on fire-it was then a hot sensation inflamed his bottom, and he grabbed himself screaming and shot in a circle before nothing but a trail of smoke circled above them.
#15 - Breathing
Mario hushed (and blushed), as the princess softly drawn her lips from his-normally, the plumber was used to a peck on the nose… Peach’s glove caressed his cheek, a warm breath claiming him by mouth once more-heart soaring like a star, he tentatively held a hand to her side, preserving the magic moment, the magic peace, together.

#16 - Breaking
Her crown in two on the floor, the princess picked the pieces and shed her tears-she stiffened as a hand patted her shoulder, herself a warmed head, and a capless Mario before her.
#17 - Belief
Peach stood fearless with Twink, clasping her hands and eyes closed in prayer: Mario will not die… Mario will not die…
#18 - Balloon
From the stuffy confines of the Koopa Kopter, she wrought her arms over the rim of the balloon-like device, screaming for help as loud as she could-hearing Bowser scrambling angrily below, the princess frantically tossed a mushroom to Mario-this should aid him in the meantime, at least.
#19 - Balcony
Her fingers clenched hard to the rails, thousands and thousands of feet above the Mushroom Kingdom, in a blank world of sunset oranges and blues, with the stars twinkling just above-she knew Twink was away, finding Mario-where on earth could he be?
#20 - Bane
He killed him… he killed him… he "paid the price", but so will everyone else, Bowser being the first… the Koopa Castle lain in ruin, and there Peach shuddered, gray as cruel stone and her legs and arms laden with dripping cuts-her dress was in violent tatters, and her hair was cut short, one side longer than the other, and coated in ash-the princess’s eyes caked in tears, blood dripping from her nails as she shivered at the sight of Mario: Limp, helpless, broken, frail, murdered, lying in a coffin of broken glass… Mario had been her hope-now everyone will choke her despair.

#21 - Quiet
The Boggly Woods was a floral luminescence, fragrant as china and with one quiver, the snowflake leaves dared crack a whisper-guiding Peach inside the Great Tree, Mario introduced her to the Punies and their Elder-music shortly rose inside.
#22 - Quirks
The first time Mario discovered her “???”, he was rather surprised by Peach’s hobby-but in the end, he decided he’d rather not think more of it.
#23 - Question
The plumber bent on one knee, tenderly opening a small, black velvet box-when again he realized Bowser snatched his love from the sky once more.
#24 - Quarrel
They almost never argued, but whenever it happened, Peach would storm to her room and cry-an apology, a flower, and a dinner warmed them over.
#25 - Quitting
Beaten and battered, with bruises on his bruises, Bowser grumbled as he watched his nemesis and the beauty reunite: "I wish I could quit you."
~
#26 - Jump
Mario’s jump was world-renowned, no doubt about it-although he could never glide as gracefully as she with her parasol.
#27 - Jester
He looked good in the hat, he knew-but he couldn’t juggle more than two balls for the princess… well then, I’ll just have to practice harder!
#28 - Jousting
Peach stood between two knights-one angelic white, the other demon black-one was mustachioed, the other breathed fire-one bore a cap, the other bore horns-she crossed her fingers, heart thumping as the two thrust forward at each other… for their life, for her heart.
#29 - Jewel
Peach packaged the music box carefully, before penning the final words of her letter: “I have enclosed a jewel that helps protect you.”
#30 - Just
Just one glace, one stare, one hand, one kiss… that was enough for a blush.
~
#31 - Smirk
As they escaped from Cackletta’s stronghold, it took everything in their power to resist the giggles rising in their throats as Princess Luigi rode away-the villains were in for a surprise!
#32 - Sorrow
Mario’s hand trembled over the glass coffin, over a beautiful woman who lay like unbroken porcelain-skin pale as crystal, her hands clutched a bouquet of blossoms to her breast-petals were the bed she knew-with a nod to Luigi, the red plumber swallowed a sob and sorrow-someday, my princess… we WILL bring you back.
#33 - Stupidity
Peach was not in any way a dumb blonde-she giggled as she placed the Scrabble tile, the Mario Bros. crying out boggled and googly-eyed.
#34 - Serenade
Nothing was keeping her from Mario, that’s for sure-but despite overlooked refusals, she was curious of Bowser’s latest pick-up line.
#35 - Sarcasm
The Turtle King wanted to rearrange the alphabet to put "U" and "I" together-she replied she liked it the way it was with "N" and "O".
~
#36 - Sordid
Bowser’s insults churned an angry knot in the princess’s stomach-Mario was ABOVE the lewd trash the Koopa King called him, and he knew it.
#37 - Soliloquy
"Muh-Mario-nevermind me, it’s just a Freudian slip-!"
#38 - Sojourn
The princess didn’t want to leave the hot springs of Nimbus Land-it was a good thing they all worn towels, or her face would’ve been as red as Mario’s body as he shot from the water like a rocket.
#39 - Share
Bowser didn’t mind anymore Mario and the princess were married-after all, he plotted, tapping his claws together with a wide grin, we can take turns and share.
#40 - Solitary
Without her Toads and other subjects, Peach felt all alone in Vibe Island-she then recalled the red plumber’s bubbly grin, and Perry hung nestled over her head like a permanent ray of sunshine.
~
#41 - Nowhere
Peach gasped, the Vanish Cap (Crown rather) cloaking her with the air and Mario unable to see her-if this is what it’s like to be invisible, what about wings or metal?
#42 - Neutral
Carpenter, zookeeper, chef, or plumber-it didn’t matter he wasn’t royalty or several inches shorter.
#43 - Nuance
"Hello, this is Pauline-Mario, what the-oh, don’t worry about me, I’m engaged to a nice bugman named Stan-what did you say about mushrooms and kingdoms and the princess of peaches again?"
#44 - Near
Shivering from a nightmare, Yoshi quickly glanced to see if the babies were all right-Donkey Kong was safe, and so was Wario-Baby Bowser snored away, and another sight ultimately soothed him: Baby Mario and Peach sharing the same blanket, huddled together in the night with the pink parasol in their arms.
#45 - Natural
The princess’s cheeks turned pink as her dress, burying her face into her gloved hands in disbelief she spilled her forbidden deadly secrets to Mario-the plumber kissed her shoulder, assuring her she shouldn’t be ashamed-"Only natural."
~
#46 - Horizon
If life was like a boat, it had to mean the ocean was collection of dreams, reflecting the wishes of the night sky-alone in a rowboat, it took Mario to see Peach’s reflection in the water, and her constellation in the stars, that made him believe she was there with him-he stretched his aching hands and slapping the oars back into the water, the sun-lit horizon promising the vision of the shore.
#47 - Valiant
Peach embraced her unconscious hero tightly, as her parasol guided them away from Bowser’s exploding fortress-with a soft smile, she thanked him-because of Mario, she gained the courage to become what he became to her.
#48 - Virtuous
He frowned in worry-it didn’t surprise Mario who Cackletta was after to replicate the “purest voice” to awaken the Bean Star.
#49 - Victory
They walked to Mario’s porch, watching the night sky toss a bouquet of fireworks; the Mushroom Kingdom would sleep in peace tonight.
#50 - Defeat
With the smack of her hips, Mario tumbled down the pit-he could’ve sworn he heard her words followed by a giggle: "Madness? This is Super Smash Bros!"
