Set Beta - Draco Malfoy/Seira Hikari

Dec 22, 2007 19:30

She used to see him out of the corner of her blue eyes, loathing the way he was walking past her with his pride up high. Seira never noticed that she sometimes did the same.

02. Waltz

Dueling with Seira Hikari was like a waltz; it was a complicated dance with various movements, which represented so many emotions between them such as animosity and an unspoken attraction. He never knew such a dance would be that fun.

03. Wishes

Seira was never one to waste wishes on guys like him until she fell hard. Her brother was going to kill her now.

04. Wonder

Draco never ceased to wonder how she acquired her satin, blue hair. It just wasn’t normal, but then again, that was one of the things he liked about her.

05. Worry

As much as she hated the feeling, Seira could not help but feel some worry for her dueling partner. He was always on time with his posse, unlike today.

06. Whimsy

A whimsy about each other was their worst nightmares in the early days, but nowadays, they couldn’t help themselves.

07. Waste/Wasteland

“Being here with you isn’t a waste of my time,” He growled before his mouth crashed down on hers forcefully.

08. Whisky & Rum

That would be the last time she would call the house-elf Dobby for whisky and rum for herself and Draco; who knows what they did when they were drunk. Seira didn’t want to think about it anymore.

09. War

War is on painted on the rising sun. Draco aligned with the Death Eaters whereas Seira had ties to the Sorcerers aiding the Boy-Who-Lived. Neither knew their lover was on the other side.

10. Weddings

“So…what do you think about weddings, Hikari?” Someone mocked Seira, obviously attacking her odd relationship with Draco Malfoy.

11. Birthday

Draco scowled being unaware of his own secret lover’s birthday. Process of elimination would be a horrible way of heading out.

12. Blessing

“You know, if you’re trying to get a blessing from my twin brother, you better brace yourself for Hikari magic,” Seira said, “even if you happen to be on my twin’s good side at that point in time.”

13. Bias

“I know this is a bias comment, but you are a better candidate for my wife because-” she had pure, but sorceress blood. Seira shook her head, wishing that she left out that fact.

14. Burning

Seira attempted to calm that burning sensation in her once stone heart as soon as she spotted his longing glance. “Goddamn you, Draco.” She whispered, forcing herself to look away. They couldn’t get caught or else, it would look bad on both sides.

15. Breathing

When he broke away from the kiss he started, her breathing was jagged. Seira was not quite expecting him to do such a thing. Not to her anyways. Her blue eyes avoided his as she turned away. “Come on, I don’t want to get caught.”

16. Breaking

“We’re not breaking any rules with our little,” Draco’s voice trailed off as he ran his fingers through her hair, “rendezvous, are we?” Seira rolled her eyes. They were breaking oh so many.

17. Belief

“Why do you hang onto his word?” Those words danced in her thoughts. She trusted Draco; she believed what she perceived as true from his mouth. Isn’t that what lovers do?

18. Balloon

After long last, Draco’s temper was reaching its limit. If Potter or Pansy pushed him a little more over the edge, they would all be dead before Seira would be able to cast a calming spell.

19. Balcony

She looked down at Draco with awe. Her brother had whisked her away to Japan for the winter holidays and somehow, her secret lover found her. And there he was, standing below her balcony. “Well, isn’t this a Romeo and Juliet?”

20. Bane

“Are your bodyguards a nuisance whenever you want to sneak off into Hogsmeade with me?” She questioned.

21. Quiet

“Great, you’re being quiet. Why aren’t you yelling at me?” Draco snapped. She merely glared at him; she was in no mood to do so.

22. Quirks

“I believe this was just a twist of fate,” She told him. Draco smirked; he was never one to believe in destiny. It just wasn’t his thing until the day he met her.

23. Question

Her brother would obviously question her choice of lover; Seira had no idea how to answer that.

24. Quarrel

“I reckon you two quarrel a lot,” Hermione commented; Seira knew the girl was not far from the truth.

25. Quitting

“I’m not quitting because of you,” Draco hissed. Cute, Seira thought to herself, his pride was still intact.

26. Jump

“If you told me to jump off the Gryffindor Tower just to prove I lo-” She cut him off with a kiss. Seira got the point.

27. Jester

“Apparently, we’re the fools in this game,” Draco muttered before leaving a trail of kisses down her neck. Seira half-smirked. At least, being a fool felt good around him.

28. Jousting

“You’re horrible at English wordplay,” Draco commented harshly, “Your Japanese is better.” Seira merely shrugged it off; after all, he never understood what she said in her native tongue anyway.

29. Jewel

She was the stunning gem that nobody seemed to notice; he knew that so well. Seira was the blue sapphire in the midst of Gryffindor’s rubies and ambers.

30. Just

“Leave! Just go!” shrieked Seira. She would not allow him to learn about her curse. Not now. Not ever.

31. Smirk

“That smirk looks good on you,” Seira remarked, “You should wear it more often, Draco.”

32. Sorrow

“Parting is such sweet sorrow,” She spat with obvious cynicism. At least, her ‘muggle’ clichés were put to good use.

33. Stupidity

“You’re insane,” Draco spat as he watched her copy her family crests into the magic circle, using her blood. She merely shrugged her shoulders. It was just the way some of her family magic worked.

34. Serenade

“The last thing I need for people to see is a serenade from you to me,” Seira mumbled grimly. Luckily, Draco wasn’t a singer.

35. Sarcasm

Draco knew he was on the brink of all kinds of tension. He needed a release. Even if Seira made a suggestive, but sarcastic comment, he would do whatever she said.

36. Sordid

“Maybe I should turn you into a ferret!” Seira shrieked at Draco, whose lady friend Pansy provoked her. Draco shuddered at her comment, muttering something along the lines of “Disgusting little things.”

37. Soliloquy

Draco didn’t need to say anything; Seira noticed that his thoughts were just unusually written all over his face.

38. Sojourn

“I can’t stay any longer. I need to Floo back to England,” Draco whispered hoarsely before stealing a kiss.

39. Share

Of all the kisses they had to share, Draco could feel the hurricane of emotions between them. She was going to miss him; he would too.

40. Solitary

She knew how to cope with loneliness. Seira had learned since she was a child; Draco noticed and attempted to break her wall. He never knew of the curse until she pushed him away the first time.

41. Nowhere

If they came out with the secret, both sides would disown them for innocently fraternizing with the enemy, giving them nowhere to go.

42. Neutral

His expression remained neutral as he watched her escape from Snape’s grasp. She didn’t have to use her magic or anything. Draco figured it was part of her natural charm.

43. Nuance

His usually pale face had a sort of pink tint to them. Seira raised an eyebrow and felt his forehead. She was quite sure he didn’t have a fever, but he was drenched in sweat. She opened her mouth to ask why, but Draco answered before the question even came out, “Quidditch practice.”

44. Near

He wanted to reach out and hold her. She was near, but yet so far from his grasp. Draco felt the need to scream out her name as she ran across the fields in search of her twin brother. He couldn’t bring himself to move.

45. Natural

Everything between them felt as natural from their animosity to their confession of attraction, as cliché as Seira put it.

46. Horizon

“They say love is when two lovers look out toward the same direction,” He told her as they looked out toward the red horizon.

47. Valiant

Being valiant for causes that pit him against his lover was something Draco wished he could change now.

48. Virtuous

His virtuous conscience stopped him from allowing his aunt Bellatrix to harm the girl.

49. Victory

With a Death Eater’s victory, he would lose her forever. Draco did not want to face her in a dance with death.

50. Defeat
With the defeat of her twin brother, the task of facing Draco fell to her shaking hands. Seira did not know how to fight against him.
