Heh, second claim posted first~
Fandom: Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro
Pairing: Nougami Neuro/Kaitou Sai (Kaitou X)
Theme set: Alpha
Rating: G - R
Warnings: Homosexuality, mentions of sex, mentions of violence, mentions of death, a sadistic X
Disclaimer: If I’d say I own them Neuro would torture me and Sai would make me into a ‘red box’, so I’m not even gonna try. I don’t own, I only write about them.
Notes: Since I’m reading the scanlated manga, which is scanlated up to volume 10 right now, I’m gonna ignore what I’ve read about Sai. I refuse to think of him as a girl, damn it! Sicks doesn't do it, so why should I?
And it looks like I have a thing for turning Sai into a more sadistic person than I think he actually is… I don’t know what to say, except: I’m weird like that. Eh, at least he doesn’t seem to be that bad IMO.
# 1 - Comfort
Sai found that it felt right when he was with Neuro.
# 2 - Kiss
“It wasn’t what I meant when I said I wanted to know what’s inside you, but I like it anyway”.
# 3 - Soft
No matter what person he transformed into, Neuro always thought Sai had the same soft way of speaking; he noted it first after they’ve been together a month.
# 4 - Pain
Sai wanted to see Neuro’s face when he crushed him, but the daemon refused to comply.
# 5 - Potatoes
“Why are you giving me these?” Neuro grinned and patted Sai’s head slightly “Because my teacher seems to love them, so I thought maybe you’d like them too”.
# 6 - Rain
One day Sai noted that Neuro never fought when it rained and he wondered why - the picture of a soaked through Neuro didn’t give him any peace.
# 7 - Chocolate
“Yako, tell me more about this ‘Valentine’s Day’” Yako looked bewildered at Neuro “Why would you wonder, you can’t possibly have anyone you care about” - she learnt to just shut up and help him pick out the most delicious chocolate.
# 8 - Happiness
They were both called monsters, they had never known happiness and never had they wanted to either; they didn’t care about such a trivial thing, as long as they were with each other. (However, Neuro’s empty stomach was a completely different matter.)
# 9 - Telephone
Instead of just having to sit and wait for the other, Neuro wished Sai could get a phone.
# 10 - Ears
No matter which way he looked at it, Neuro thought that Sai with dog ears with irresistibly cute.
# 11 - Name
“Since you’re a human, don’t you have a name for yourself?” Neuro one day asked; Sai had tried to come up with an answer, but found none.
#12 - Sensual
The feeling of Neuro’s tongue against his skin gave Sai feelings he’d never felt before, and he wanted more.
# 13 - Death
“Neuro, are daemons immortal?” Neuro looked thoughtfully at his smaller companion “No one I know has ever died… of natural reasons”.
# 14 - Sex
Neuro liked Sai’s transformation ability especially much in bed; it guaranteed that he’d never be bored.
# 15 - Touch
Afterward when they were finished, Sai had Neuro touch him, just so he’d know that he had returned to the form he thought of as ‘his own’.
# 16 - Weakness
“I know what your weakness is”, Sai whispered in a beaten Neuro’s ear; Neuro smiled a hollow smile and closed his eyes, waiting for the other to finish, “me”.
# 17 - Tears
When he heard Sai’s final sigh, Neuro felt something unfamiliar and wet on his face.
# 18 - Speed
“Do you really think you’ll be able to catch a real daemon? You’re much too slow for that!” Neuro taunted his human opponent.
# 19 - Wind
“Hey, Neuro, do you feel the wind? It’s really nice”, Sai mumbled into the night.
# 20 - Freedom
When he had found out who he was, Sai would be free - and only by knowing what Neuro truly is would he find out.
# 21 - Life
Neither of them would say they were really living, and they didn’t want it any other way.
# 22 - Jealousy
Sai was just too cute when he demanded to know who that person was; he was even cuter when he tried to deny that he was jealous. (“I saw how she tried to flirt with you!”)
# 23 - Hands
Sai wanted to cut off the daemon’s hands and feet, rip out his tongue and eyes and destroy them, he wanted to have the other at his mercy, completely vulnerable and without a chance to defend himself.
# 24 - Taste
There was a taste in his mouth that didn’t want to leave, no matter what Sai did to make it disappear; Neuro weren’t there anymore to help him with it, and Sai still hated himself.
# 25 - Devotion
Neither of them truly knew what the word meant; Neuro had just smashed Yako in the wall and Sai had smiled, both confused.
# 26 - Forever
He wasn’t a human anymore, he was a daemon and he was with Neuro - he had an identity and he’d keep it at any cost.
# 27 - Blood
His smile widened even more and he licked Neuro’s blood off of his hands.
# 28 - Sickness
Neuro was like a cold; he sneaked into ones mind, made it comfortable for himself and didn’t leave until he’d gotten what he wanted - what he wanted now was his brain, Sai thought irritated.
# 29 - Melody
Yako had been humming a song the whole morning non-stop, and Neuro was on the verge of breaking in a killing spree; the only thing stopping him was the fact that the song was the one Sai had declared his new favorite.
# 30 - Star
The thing that was the third most worth of coming to the mortal world, Neuro told Sai, were the stars; he’d never seen anything like them in the daemon world.
# 31 - Home
He’d never had a home - he didn’t even know which country he came from in the first place - but it started changing when he had met Neuro.
# 32 - Confusion
Pride was something Neuro had very much of and he held hard unto his outwardly façade; no matter what he felt inside, he wouldn’t let it show on the outside - it became more and more troublesome keeping the facade in place whenever Sai came near him.
# 33 - Fear
No one would ever guess that Sai had claustrophobia; no one knew that he’d sometimes wake up from a nightmare and clutch hard onto Neuro until he’d calmed down.
# 34 - Lighting/Thunder
When the rest of the living creatures in the area hid in fear of being hit, they were together outside, watching in fascination.
# 35 - Bonds
They were complete opposites, and they were so alike; they had nothing in common and their ways were miles apart, but still they felt there was something forcing them together.
# 36 - Market
“Yako, stay here in case a customer comes, I’ll know if you’ve taken a single step outside the office,” Neuro grinned while Yako saw pictures of her death flashing by “But… where are you going?” “The market, I’m meeting with a special person,” and without a single more word of explanation he left, leaving Yako with the biggest mystery presented to her ever.
# 37 - Technology
The new things the scientists came up with all the time intrigued Neuro so much that he could spend hours talking about a single thing; even though Sai loved him very much, he was walking towards the end of his patience, fast.
# 38 - Gift
The time they got was what he cherished the most, even though it hurt like nothing he’d ever felt before when it ended.
# 39 - Smile
Mostly only people who would die saw his real face, and they always saw a smiling monster; therefore he felt some kind of kinship when he met the grinning daemon.
# 40 - Innocence
At first sight Sai looked like a young boy who knew nothing of the world’s corruption, but even though he’s a master of disguises his murder intent always leaked from his facades.
# 41 - Completion
Neuro fed on mysteries, riddles and puzzles, which came pouring from whatever Sai did; Sai didn’t know who he was, and being with Neuro made him feel more and more like he knew.
# 42 - Clouds
One day Neuro got the idea that Sai could transform into such things as clouds - when he told Yako, she agreed with the idea, knowing she’d face torture if she said anything else.
# 43 - Sky
On the same day Sai got a similar thought and asked Ai if she thought Neuro could fly, since he was a daemon after all; she pondered the question and answered truthfully that she did not know, but it was possible.
# 44 - Heaven
Neuro decided that since the place he came from was called hell, the human world was his heaven.
# 45 - Hell
When humans talked about hell, they talked about something they feared throughout their whole life; when Sai finally got to the place he decided that their fears were grounded on nothing, for the place where Neuro existed could never be that bad.
# 46 - Sun
Sai didn’t like the thought that he was thinking cheesy things, he had despised just that aspect of every book he’d read that he could remember - but he still thought Neuro could outshine the sun.
# 47 - Moon
Never had Neuro cared about what anyone else thought, and he didn’t care himself if he was what the humans called ‘cheesy’; there was no bigger joy - except maybe a few things, like the ultimate puzzle - than being together with Sai under the moonlight.
# 48 - Waves
The feelings came and left, one day he swore to himself that he’d finally force forth Neuro’s true form, but the next time they met he had trouble thinking clear thoughts at all; he blamed it all on Neuro using one of his daemon powers.
# 49 - Hair
Ever since the beginning Sai had been wondering what those things in Neuro’s hair was, so one day he couldn’t keep his hands still and pulled the ones on the neck hair, thinking it might be accessories; three months later Neuro still hadn’t forgiven him for the pain his hair had been through. (“Don’t you think you’re overreacting?”)
# 50 - Supernova
“I remember that supernova two years ago, it was really nice to look at” Sai had a hard time believing that Neuro really had seen the largest supernova ever observed, not to mention survived it; he had no problem imagine the daemon flying around in outer space though.
