Henry thought his lungs had stopped working properly as he heaved and heaved, out of breath, and sniffling silently behind a hand, hugging the violin case closer to his chest until someone freed him from the position with a hug and soft soothing words in his hair.

Kyuhyun doesn't think he could crack a joke or two with his rumored sense of humor that rivaled Eeteuk and Yehsung's own, but he is starting to think otherwise now, while watching the many times Henry's cheeks go round and slightly red from the way he's laughing and snickering.
3. beginning
Life is good now, he tells himself over and over again as their fingers thread together for the final bow to the audience after the performance.
4. bugs
Henry feels all their eyes on him; assessing, calculating, analyzing him--he's a stranger in their midst, but not entirely when Kyuhyun pulls him over to introduce the trainees he's made friends with.

Their friendship began on a nice windy day, with no clouds in the sky, complete racket in the background of hyung rushing around to get ready, over a cup of hot coffee with milk cream squirted on top, and a warm 'good morning'.

It's already past noon when Kyuhyun came to pick him up from the practice room and suggested to have lunch at a nearby noodleshop.

He fidgeted with the napkins, eyes scanning the almost empty table and tried his best not to look in Kyuhyun's direction as the other spoke to him in a low husky voice--he could almost imagine his Adam's apple bobbing up and down with each word that came out.

Henry wasn't even listening--he could tell by the way his eyes flicker to the sides, avoiding any eye-contact--and Kyuhyun started to wonder whether his voice was even reaching his heart, his mind and soul or not, considering the many locks he wasn't sure he had to go through first.

He remembers Eeteuk and the other members orchestrating a night out a few days after his debut, a welcome party that requires a lot of partying and alcohol to sate their giddiness; he smiles encouragingly to Henry as he tugs him along the dark, gloomy corridor and passes him a can of soda.

The wind picked up its strength and scattered the many sheets of paper from his fingers in an attempt to cut through the tension that seemed to have settled between the both of you.
