May 26, 2008 13:34

Fandom: Farscape
Pairing: John Crichton / Aeryn Sun
Theme set: Gamma
Rating: PG-13 I suppose
Notes: firt of all, so sorry this took forever to complete. I pretty much forgot it when I was almost done. Secondly, everything is canon or generic feelings (that are canon of course), feel free to try to pinpoint which scenes I've used ^.~ And thirdly, these are all quick snapshots of moments. Most sentences are short and simple and are meant to be read as just that, but know that they are all weighed carefully in my head before ending up here ^^

01 - Ring
She had learnt enough about human symbolism to understand the importance of his mother’s ring.

02 - Hero
He had been a hero that day, and she hated him for it.

03 - Memory
She wondered if the memory of them growing old together would ever come to him before he died.

04 - Box
Pressed to the floor of the elevator they kissed, awaiting death or salvation.

05 - Run
With the wrong Crichton alive, and with the right Crichton’s child inside her, she ran - ran away from confusion and pain, thinking that if she could run far enough it would all sort itself out.

06 - Hurricane
As she felt the sandstorm tear her clothes and saw his face shine with elation when the com crackled; she thought about the long life she had lived, the many years spent with him, and she knew she could finally die happy.

07 - Wings
Without wings she fell helplessly through the freezing air, hoping that John had meant what he said earlier - and before the cold water claimed her, her last word was his name.

08 - Cold
Kissing her cold lips goodbye made him realise he had nothing left to lose.

09 - Red
She pulled the red covers over them both, and just held him close - crying as she felt the warmth leave his still body.

10 - Drink
She downs bottle after bottle with fellip nectar, hoping it will take the edge of the pain, but if anything it just makes it worse.

11. Midnight
Naming already named stars would’ve been stupid, but she was with him and everything felt absolutely right.

12 - Temptation
The mist took away all their reservations and made them give in to temptation.

13 - View
Seeing him on the wrong side of the airlock made her realise how much she really needed him.

14 - Music
To the tunes of the orchestra of war they became a family.

15 - Silk
The white silk was stained red as the dream shattered.

16 - Cover
Reluctantly she let him cover her for once and turned her attention towards their unborn child struggling inside her.

17 - Promise
He had promised her he wouldn’t kill his worst enemy - that was how much he loved her.

18 - Dream
He dreamt of a normal life back on Earth with her, but deep in his heart he knew that it would never work and the old woman’s powders helped him realise it.

19 - Candle
As the flicker grows to a sun hurtling towards the dreadnaught, all she can think of is how fragile his life is.

20 - Talent
Despite all the walls she raised around her heart, Crichton seemed to have a real talent for breaking through all her defences and getting under her skin.

21 - Silence
She didn’t need to say a word, just feeling her hand in his was enough.

22 - Journey
‘That was the beginning of my life,’ she said as she touched his cheek in a final goodbye and thank you for the pain, the love, the memories…and Crichton.

23 - Fire
For a moment their concern wasn’t that they were being pulled into a sun, but that they were covered with way too much fabric and leather.

24 - Strength
She had always relied on her strength, but feeling him slip away in her arms made her feel absolutely powerless.

25 - Mask
She had been hiding behind a cold soldier’s mask for so long, but he had slowly peeled it away, leaving her exposed - and for once, she wasn’t afraid.

26 - Ice
Knowing that he was the one that had condemned her to this ice prison hurt him more than he ever thought was possible.

27 - Fall
She never thought she would love again, but somehow she had fallen for this human so utterly and completely.

28 - Forgotten
She would never forget how she lost him once, never - but the aching memory would just make her hold on to him so much harder this time.

29 - Dance
With glazed eyes he slowly twirled the old woman as he in his mind danced the first dance with his wife.

30 - Body
With his heart beating against her naked back, she finally felt complete.

31 - Sacred
Surrounded by sacred flowers they touched, hoping that the Scarrans would just wait a little longer.

32 - Farewells
They always seemed to say goodbye because their goodbyes never lasted.

33 - World
‘This is my world now,’ she said as she looked down the abyss.

34 - Formal
She would never wear that white dress; a bright red flower would just have to do.

35 - Fever
There was just something about Crichton that made her trust him, something that made it possible to ask him to promise.

36 - Laugh
She hadn’t smiled or laughed in cycles, but there was something about that human that just made everything feel a little bit easier.

37 - Lies
He felt like he was living a lie, taking double doses of drugs just to take his mind of her slightly, but it was all he could do to protect her and everyone else.

38 - Forever
Stark had asked them if they loved each other enough to be married forever, and for the first time in her life Aeryn could honestly answer yes.

39 - Overwhelmed
Love had picked her up, spun her around and dropped her hard, and she didn’t know if she would ever be able to rise again.

40 - Whisper
‘I have never felt better,’ she whispered and he tried desperately to hold on to the dream - unaware that her whisper was an echo of another perfect dream that once shattered and left Aeryn’s heart in a million pieces.

41 - Wait
To keep her and the baby safe, he was ready to wait for an eternity.

42 - Talk
Despite the translator microbes she felt that learning English was the right thing to do.

43 - Search
She never realised she was searching, but in John Crichton she had found it.

44 - Hope
Showing their son the stars for the first time finally allowed them to feel hopeful for the future.

45 - Eclipse
He said he had never felt better, it was an obvious lie…but he was with her, and she loved him, and that was enough.

46 - Gravity
She was willing to just give in to gravity, to drop through the polluted atmosphere towards blissful oblivion - because without him she didn’t want to struggle anymore.

47 - Highway
She saw the wormhole open and the module diving into it, and she feared it would happen all over again and that she would lose him a second time to this violent way to peace.

48 - Unknown
The unknown had become home, the enemy soldier had become the mother of his child and his confusion and fear had become love.

49 - Lock
As they opened the locket and watched the remains of someone’s memories glitter, something stirred deep inside them both, but they wouldn’t realise what in a very long time, if ever.

50 - Breathe
She sat on the side of the bed, holding their baby, wondering if he could even hear her or if all he could do was breathe shallowly.

Notes:
22 - it’s a cut scene from Into The Lion’s Den pt2: Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing where Crais apologizes for everything he has done, but Aeryn stops him and says ‘Listen to me. That was the beginning of my life’. It’s one of my favourite scenes from the series, and it’s even not in the finished product!
