1) Comfort
The arms that hold him close and the fingers that are gently treading through his hair, are all the comfort Fuji needs.

Tezuka sighs softly when he feels soft lips cover his own, wondering once again what he has done to deserve this beauty in his arms.

Vaguely Fuji can hear Tezuka's concerned voice, way softer than usual; "Sleep"
4) Pain
The pained look in Tezuka's eyes is a sight that would worry Fuji the moment he notices it; that's why the tennis captain carefully avoids showing it when the tensai is around.
5) Potatoes
If there is one thing they both hate, it are potatoes.

Fuji loves the rain just as much as he loves tennis; he even manages to convince Tezuka to continue the game they're playing when it starts to pour down.

There is always a bar of chocolate hidden in the drawer next to Tezuka's bed, because he knows his tensai to be unpredictable.

'Happiness is what you make of it'; a sentence Fuji once read somewhere and up 'till now he has always lived by it.

Despite her often reprimanding him, Fuji always turns to Yumiko when he needs a listening ear.

Eventually Tezuka takes the first step, suddenly appearing at Fuji's front door, and all it takes for Fuji to forgive him is Tezuka whispering his name.

He closes his eyes, smiles, opens his eyes again, lips parting, a silent gasp - the most sensual thing Tezuka has seen for the past week, and he swears that never again there will be a fight between Fuji and him.

After having lost Yuuta in a car-crash, Tezuka hates it when Fuji says that live is simple, because he knows what the other boy thinks after it : 'at the end of it, Death waits for us all'.

Tezuka could never predict Fuji, not even when they make love to one other; sometimes the tensai will shout out his name, sometimes the only thing that leaves his mouth is a moan and the breathing of what might have been a whisper of his name.

A soft laugh escapes Fuji's lips when he hears the soft muttering of his lover; "Finally out of that damn prison that is called a 'hospital'."

When Tezuka asks why they are celebrating, the first answer he gets is Fuji's mysterious smile, soon followed by an honest one and the silent whisper "we're celebrating life."
22) Jealousy
Fuji rolls his eyes when he sees the near flirting game between Tezuka and Atobe, not once feeling any sort of guilt when his mind starts to think of sweet revenge; Tezuka knows he's jealous and possessive about his boyfriend.
23) Hands
He has a fixation for Tezuka's hands, always has, and more precisely for his fingers; certainly when they're undressing and caressing him.

"Oh come on Kunimitsu, close your eyes and open your mouth; you trust me don't you?"

It is one thing to whisper words of devotion when cuddling together in bed, when the dark is embracing you; it's an entire different thing to say it in broad daylight, where the words seem to get an entire new dimension.

They never promised one other forever; words were not needed, they knew anyhow; their actions spoke loud enough.

A soft chuckle leaves Fuji's lips when he feels his lover kiss away the small drop of blood on his finger - "You know, Kunimitsu, if I were the Sleeping Beauty, you'd have to kiss my lips to wake me up and not my finger."

Far away he could feel a cold hand being place on his forehead, soft whispered words and someone pulling the soft blanket over his shivering body.

There's a melody guiding him back, as if it's calling him home; a melody he would recognize even if he lost all his memories, a melody printed in his mind - the song that was playing in the background when they first kissed.

"Gil-Estel is shining bright tonight" - he chuckles softly when he sees the confused look on Tezuka's face, knowing his lover doesn't care about Lord of the Rings, let alone about its stars.

When Tezuka came home, after his stay in the hospital, Fuji smiled; knowing what was in his lover's head, knowing that only when they are together they at home.
32) Confusion
More often than not, Fuji manages to leave Tezuka confused; and it doesn't bother the tennis captain one bit; instead he considers it a challenge to try and discover all the hidden meanings in his boyfriend's actions and words.
33) Fear
Tezuka had once knows raw fear; once, when the fight between Fuji and himself had turned so bad that his tensai left him - he feared it might have been the end of all of it.
34) Lightning/Thunder
Few people are aware of the fact that Tezuka Kunimitsu really doesn't like a storm - only Fuji knows that he flinches slightly at every thunder - only Fuji knows that holding him close is the only way to make him less tense every time the lightning flashes.
35) Bonds
When Eiji first notices the matching necklaces, he immediately asks when they're going to marry - it earns him a stern look from Tezuka while Fuji explains that they're bonded by love and not by a ring.
36) Market
Neither Fuji and Tezuka, not Oishi and Eiji often go to the market; so when they meet there, after not having heard from one other for months, their smiles broaden and dates are set to catch up again
37) Technology
"Mitsu, Echizen sends you his regards; well, his usual Mada Mada Dane; from somewhere at the other end of the world" - it's only Fuji who often uses every piece of technology to keep in touch with all the others of their former team.
38) Gift
The first gift Fuji ever received from Tezuka was a mini tennis ball; he still has it with him everywhere.
39) Smile
"When did you realize you loved me?" - Tezuka should have known he wasn't going to get a decent answer; instead he got an open, honest smile.
40) Innocence
Many people, teachers for example, always thought Fuji to be innocent; Tezuka always blamed it on his angelic features though it made him wonder how they'd react had they ever found out that Fuji was the masterbrain behind all the pranks.
41) Completion
The moment Fuji felt Tezuka's lips on his, he had known he was right - the other boy made him complete.
42) Clouds
Ever since he was a child, Tezuka had loved the clouds - though not like most other children : to find horses and cats and dogs and flowers in the - no, the clouds always comforted him, one way or another; in fact, the still do.

Fuji on the other hand preferred the bright blue sky; thinking his brother smiled at him from there.
44) Heaven
"Do you know what snowflakes are Kunimitsu?" - Fuji doesn't even wait for a reaction before continuing - "It are the frozen tears of the angels in heaven."

"Do you think there is a place called Hell?" - Tezuka doesn't know why his lover sometimes asks it, his answer always remains the same though - "I don't think there is Hell, but you know I don't believe in Heaven either." - Now though he thinks he might know why Fuji often asks - "Should there be a Heaven and Hell, I'm sure Yuuta will never have ended up down there."
46) Sun
The sun that falls on his face, that reflects in his honey brown hair, that makes him shine; it's what most people notice when they see Fuji - but it's the what the sun does to his orbs when he opens his eyes, that catches Tezuka's breath.
47) Moon
Contrary to popular believe it is Tezuka who prefers the day and the sun, and Fuji who loves the night - if only for the bright moon against the dark sky.
48) Waves
Fuji once compared them to the waves on the sand - it was one of his illogic conclusions that left Tezuka wondering what was going on in the tensai's mind.

He doesn't know why he does it, but every time they kiss, his fingers burry themselves in Fuji's hair.

Fuji's mouth opens in a silent cry when he sees the bright flashes of light before his closed eyes; lightning the dark night; while his arms keep on holding Tezuka close.
