1. He watched the other move, so slowly, so smoothly.
2. Kaido drank some water to hydrate his overheating body when he felt a pair of eyes on him.
3. The days back when they were in middle school made them laugh; their naivety of their former selves was hilarious.
4. They competed with each other, trying to outdo each other, so they didn’t have to drink Inui’s special drink.
5. The wrong move-that was what Momoshiro was always told by the overconfident Kaido.
6. Noticing the soft touches, the way he talked to him, Kaido thought that Momo thought that he was some fragile Porcelain doll.
7. “We’re one and the same,” Kaido repeated over and over again as the day was starting to dawn on him.
8. “A thousand ways to die,” the TV show said, showing graphic deaths that turned on both, but also made them cringe.
9. Who was king you ask; well, not one single person could figure that out in the “hatred” that oozed out of the two-but even then, they had no idea themselves.
10. They learned from each other, taking the skills that each knew and incorporating it into their own style-so next time you see a Snake from Momo, don’t be shocked.
11. The ball moved quickly, but Momo moved even more quickly-he found himself kissing Momo in the next second, not that he mind.
12. “Just wait a minute,” Momo cried out as he found himself cornered by Kaido, who looked like a crazy man.
13. The day those two got along was the day Ryoma would propose to Tezuka-he better hope that doesn’t happen.
14. Kaido wondered what happened when the roles changed.
15. “Let go of me,” Kaido hissed, his face red-but not of anger; it was out of embarrassment.
16. He needed this release, this momentum, this taboo.
17. They were being really friendly, very kind to each other, but that was only in her mind.
18. Momo would pay attention to Kaido-and he was pretty sure Kaido did the same with him.
19. Souls were eternal in a sense, and Momo and Kaido knew that it was true when they ran into each other when they saw each other centuries later.
20. The photo in hand, Momo went over to his house-maybe this time, blackmail would work.
21. He was a fool for trying to get him to fall for him, but he was a love-struck fool.
22. They would argue so much, the anger saturating the air, but one person suspected that it was an act.
23. “I want a child,” Momo said suddenly, making Kaido fall out of his chair.
24. Here and now is the present, or Kaido would say too often when Momo was freaking out.
25. The darkness that surrounded each of their hearts made them attracted to the other like themselves.
26. “Sayonara,” he whispered to the sleeping boy before he dressed himself for the day to come-the day he would have to leave for America.
27. The taller of the two boys that were unfortunately stuck together was now high up in a tree, praying Kaido wouldn’t search there.
28. The idiot found the mother lode when he was alone with his crush.
29. It was in these moments that really paid off-alone and besides him, the one who allowed him to let down all his barriers.
30. “So, you don’t like those, do you Viper?”
31. They put down the story before they ran to the author’s house-he was in for a world of hurt.
32. Those bright eyes captivated him, drew him closer, until their lips met.
33. There was one thing they would never do; they would never lose to the other.
34. The team was dead on the inside as they heard Momo and Kaido sing a duet.
35. “What,” he hissed as he was suddenly slammed into the door; this was not something he expected.
36. “Damn it,” he muttered as he was unable to stop Kaido from doing as he like to him.
37. Their tempers slowly but surely simmered down, and soon, it was nearly impossible to believe they were once loud rivals.
38. The cool water ran down the cat’s back as the two sprayed each other with the hose.
39. Kaido couldn’t take it, but Momo encouraged him to accept this burning feeling.
40. “You know,” Inui started, “In most shoujo manga, antagonists and rivals usually fall in love.”
41. He couldn’t stop him; he just didn’t have enough power to.
42. Do not disturb-but still Momo went into his room.
43. “Like I would compare you to him,” Kaido hissed-it would be an insult to the Righteous One.
44. The walls to his heart fell, as Beyonce stated in Halo.
45. This image Momo had of him was photoshopped for certain, but who did it was a mystery.
46. Kaido inspired Momo and Momo inspired Kaido, with them watching each other, focusing on each other with a pure love.
47. The moment he saw Kaido fall off the cliff, he knew that his life was over.
48. He held his heart near and when he gave it to Momo, Momo knew he had something precious.
49. This situation was one someone would find themselves in when they had given their cat some cream, and the cat wanted more except Kaido wanted more of the kiss he had just gotten.
50. The fangirls would love to believe that Momo’s and Kaido’s arguing was just an act, and it became more believable when they stopped arguing altogether.
