1) Comfort
There was no comfort anywhere and Tidus hunkered down close to the ground trying to escape the rain, blaming Auron for sending him to this hell-hole.
2) Kiss
Although it wasn’t his first first kiss, as first kisses went, it blew the others out of the water.
3) Soft
Braced for a smack for his declaration, he was rather surprised instead to hear a soft gasp.
4) Pain
True, he was in pain from rends the beast’s claws had left in his side, ‘but nothing,’ he thought, ‘compares to the pain on the inside from Auron’s rejection.’
5) Potato
“Stone block!” “Delusional Child!” “Lump!” “useless midget!” “Cranky git!” “ungrateful twerp!” Tidus searched for another insult in his mind, finally spitting out, “Potato head!” and after a half second of stunned silence they both dissolved into laughter.
6) Rain
Tidus stumbled indoors and out of the rain, soaked and sporting the beginnings of a black eye that he knew he disserved, he hadn’t meant to call his boyfriend “Auron”, it had just slipped out as things got carried away.
7) Chocolate
One of the things Auron missed most from his time in Zanarkand with Tidus was chocolate, something that Spira didn’t have, and so he couldn’t lick it from his partners body, one of his favorite activities.
8) Happiness
‘If it is possible to die from happiness,’ Tidus thought, ‘I just might do so’ and tried to get his body more entwined with Auron’s.
9) Telephone
As Tidus was walking to practice one day he saw a sign advertizing a new invention called the telephone, and he had to smirk as he imagined the look on Auron’s face as he tried to figure out how to use it.
10) Ears
Tidus hadn’t fully realized just how erotic ears could be until Auron nibbled and growled how much he wanted Tidus into his.
11) Name
Tidus braced himself and after a few more strokes, came hard, his back arching off the bed and Auron’s name dropping off his lips like a whispered prayer.
12) Sensual
Auron frowned, the pounding music, the sweaty heat and close quarters of the club made him nervous, but Tidus on the floor swaying and twisting his body in a sensual dance kept him there.

Auron slammed his sword home one last time and stood panting, surveying the death all around him, his fellow guardians and fiends alike, but he was searching only for one face in the carnage.

At the beginning, sex with Auron was always rough, but little by little, Tidus helped him to remember how to make love.

“Auron, touch me, please!” Tidus screams at him from the bed, his skin starved for attention but unable to move because of the restraints he let Auron put on him.

Tidus cursed himself for his moment of weakness, knowing full well that allowing his imagination to delude itself that he ever had a chance with the older man now was just going to hurt him more later.

Auron gritted his teeth and refused to give in to Tidus, despite the tears, just as he had when he was a boy begging for sweets, only this time, he was begging for something much more dangerous to them both.
18) Speed
The speed at which Tidus moves through the water around him makes Auron a bit dizzy so he grabs a leg next time Tidus flashes by to stop him.
19) Wind
The wind whistles and shrieks around Auron as he continues to plough through the snow on Gagazet, his thoughts whirl even faster as he worries about the safety of Tidus and worry about what he might decide to do once they reach Zanarkand.
20) Freedom
For Tidus, freedom comes in two forms; sliding into the water of a blitzball sphere and in Auron’s arms.
21) Life
Auron stared at Tidus across a gap called Life, even though they were physically only 2 feet apart, Auron felt like it was a million miles.
22) Jealousy
Auron cast a worried glance to the rest of the party standing and watching Yuna and Tidus laugh hysterically, concerned about the tight feeling in his abdomen, hoping he wasn’t going to be sick, he surreptitiously massaged his gut and refused to admit, that maybe he was just jealous.
23) Hands
Auron looks at their intertwined hands, his scarred and callused and Tidus’ smooth and perfect and can’t help but frown.
24) Taste
He had had a taste, a glorious five minutes in the living room kissing and groping while Auron hadn’t been sober enough to realize who Tidus was, and then disaster.
25) Devotion
Auron was a little afraid when Tidus first developed a crush on him in his childhood, he could see the devotion shinning in the little boy’s eyes and it worried him; he can still see it sometimes but now he has a little devotion shinning in his eyes too.
26) Forever
Auron knew there would be no forever for them, but he didn’t have the heart to tell Tidus that.
27) Blood
Blood, god there is so much blood, Auron is near panicking as he wonders how much is Tidus’ and how much is the fiends.
28) Sickness
Auron used to think that love was a sickness, he’d see people do the strangest things when they were ‘infected’ and then he fell in love with Tidus and he understood.
29) Melody
Tidus didn’t know what melody was truly ‘Auron’ but in his head, he liked to think it was “Wild Thing”.
30) Star
Tidus looked up at the stars over the Al Bhed ship and wondered once again where Auron was and if he was looking at the stars and wondering about Tidus.
31) Home
Auron didn’t really think he had a home, not since he’d been kicked out of Bevelle, until one night Tidus had greeted him at the door to the houseboat with a simple “welcome home”.
32) Confusion
There was a moment of confusion as they fumbled with each other’s hands and arms trying to get each other undressed as fast as possible, and then there was nothing but slick hands and smooth caresses as the last of the clothes fell to the ground.
33) Fear
Tidus knew this would happen after they defeated Yu Yevon, Auron had told him earlier that he would be sent by Yuna’s final dance, but Tidus thought that he was going too, and he was going, but he had to watch Auron burst into pyreflies first and it made his heart race in fear that he would never be with him after Yuna sent the rest of the fayth.
34) Lightning/Thunder
Tidus had never been afraid of lighting and thunder and when they’d reached the Al Bhed inn in the thunder plains, he took a few minutes to stay out and dance in the rain, despite Auron’s orders to get inside.
35) Bond
Tidus had always thought that Auron had a kinky side that he was just hiding from Tidus, so when he finally got up the courage to ask if Auron wanted to use bonds on him, the blush and stammer that was Auron’s reaction made him goggle.
36) Market
Tidus made a tentative brush at Auron’s hand with his but Auron folded his arms across his chest with a hmph and Tidus sighed as they continued their way through the market.
37) Technology
Tidus had laughed at Auron over his inability to operate the simplest technology in Zanarkand, but had always shown him how to work it in the end.
38) Gift
Auron was startled when Tidus shoved a gift in his face and said happy birthday, mostly because it wasn’t his birthday and when he pointed that out, Tidus just shrugged and said since Auron wouldn’t tell him what day it was he had just picked one.
39) Smile
Tidus tried to smile reassuringly at Auron when he stopped for a moment beside him, but had to settle for not crying when he could barely control the wild panic in his chest as more and more pyreflies leaked out.
40) Innocence
Auron sometimes mourned his lost innocence; his faith, his belief in humanity, his life, his love, his mentor, his friends, but Tidus was innocent enough for the both of them and Auron selfishly lived through Tidus.
41) Completion
Tidus couldn’t stand it anymore; he took a running dive off the airship and then, then he joined with the people he wanted to see most; his mother, grudgingly Ject and… Auron; and now he had completion.
42) Clouds
As the clouds part above them, the light of the sun hits Tidus as he writhes above him and Auron is surrounded by a nimbus of light from Tidus’ golden hair and skin.
43) Sky
He can barely see past Tidus’ glow, but he knows it is there, above him, and he yells his triumph to the sky.
44) Heaven
The yell turns from one of triumph to one of intensely burning pleasure as he arches his body toward the heaven of Tidus’ body and the heaven of the skies above him.
45) Hell
Coming off their high Tidus grins at the man beneath him and Auron knows he is going to hell for his many sins, but maybe he will go happily if Tidus will be with him until then.
46) Sun
Tidus was a child of the sun, his golden hair, his golden skin, and when Auron saw him in the sunlight he became the living embodiment of the light.
47) Moon
Tidus watched Auron sitting on the deck of the houseboat his hair glinting silver and shining in the light of the moon and he wished he could sit with him without making things uncomfortable.
48) Waves
Tidus stood in the water and let the waves of Besaid wash over him, somehow trying to let them wash through him and wash the fear away, fear that he had lost Auron forever in the hectic upheaval from Zanarkand.
49) Hair
The first time Auron grabbed Tidus’ hair during sex; Tidus squeaked and then moaned as Auron bit the exposed flesh of his neck.
50) Supernova
He hadn’t seen that last blitzball coming; the impact made his head erupt like a supernova, and the next thing he knew he had awakened in the locker room with Auron looking worried down at him.
