Title: You give love a bad name
Fandom: One Piece
Pairing: Zoro Roronoa x Nami
Theme set: Gamma
Rating: PG-13
Warning[s]: References to Nami's past (Arlong Park arc), insinuations of sex and nudity.
#01 - Ring
That was just ridiculous; how the hell could she demand an engagement ring when she had all his money?
#02 - Hero
Even if she hated to admit it, Zoro was still the man who had saved her on the last minute from being cut in half.
#03 - Memory
The memory of their first kiss was still present on Nami's mind; it had been an accident, but she was thankful that it hadn't been their last.
#04 - Box
Nami kept in secret a small box, in which a diary could be found... a diary that no one should find, particularly a certain moss-head...
#05 - Run
Zoro didn't know if he should be happy or alarmed by Nami's ability for eating and running away before the bill came in record-breaking time.
#06 - Hurricane
Fast as a hurricane, and strong as one too, he was always there to protect her.
#07 - Wings
"An angel? please, she's the devil itse-"; he silenced when Nami kicked him under the table with surprising strength.
#08 - Cold
Despite the warmness of her body, he always felt cold... the morning after, he learned she had taken away the blanket all for herself.
#09 - Red
"It's not red, it's orange!" she barked, slamming the door on Zoro's face; still, he was satisfied he had successfully pissed her off.
#10 - Drink
Sharing a drink with the witch at a local bar could end up in a drinking competition until dawn, but it was always one of the most interesting things to do on a new island.
#11 - Midnight
When the clock struck midnight, Zoro was supposed to take over watch duty, bt as she saw he was asleep she decided not to wake him up and continue the watch herself; but don't get her wrong, she just did it for the interests she would charge him later, of course!
#12 - Temptation
As tempting as it could sound, Zoro knew better; he had spent way too much time with her to know that she shouldn't be bothered while she was working on maps, something Luffy didn't seem to understand yet.
#13 - View
Brook was tired of asking for a view of Nami's panties, and instead he interrogated Zoro on the techniques he used to access them, but that only infuriated the navigator even more.
#14 - Music
Allowing himself to be carried by her, Zoro allowed Nami and the music to guide his steps, which resulted in a laughable, yet enjoyable dance.
#15 - Silk
Unlike Nami, his clothes weren't made of silk or cotton, and were easy to destroy or ruin, but he was still thankful when she mended them for him.
#16 - Cover
He looked at Nami, who had fallen asleep on top of her maps, and covered her cold body with a nearby blanket.
#17 - Promise
He was a man of word and he had promised to return the money whenever he could; just what had he gotten himself into...
#18 - Dream
Nami didn't start taking sleep pills until a certain marimo-headed moron didn't allow her to sleep properly; but why did he keep appearing on her dreams?
#19 - Candle
The candlelit dinner was a disaster, but at least the two of them enjoyed the free alcohol the restaurant gave them, and still optimistic, they headed towards a bar not too far away from there to continue the competition.
#20 - Talent
Zoro had the rare and unique talent of calming her down with a simple touch.
#21 - Silence
His silence was met with Nami's icy stare; he didn't even defend himself, was he implying that she was right, that she had gained weight? He better not!
#22 - Journey
Their journey seemed to be coming to an end, but that didn't mean their personal journey towards love was over ye; in fact, it had barely started.
#23 - Fire
The fire in Zoro's eyes only lit in battle, when he was facing a tough opponent; so, in conclusion, she was a tough opponent in bed...
#24 - Strength
His superhuman strength was remarkable, but Nami always reminded him who was the strongest person in their relationship.
#25 - Mask
Zoro had been the first one to see under Nami's mask, behind her smile was a suffering woman, but he had kept it to himself; when the time came, she would talk about it.
#26 - Ice
His icy, cold hands were met with the warmth of Nami's; he probably should've worn better clothes for a winter island, but at least she was there to share her warmth with him.
#27 - Fall
As the crew's first mate, he felt it was his duty to save the second mate whenever she was falling... (or so he thought was the reason...)
#28 - Forgotten
Marked with her particular scent, he doubted he would ever forget someone like her...
#29 - Dance
He was clumsy and stepped on her feet numerous times, yet she was still laughing at his embarrasment provoked by touching her for dancing.
#30 - Body
She moved her body with such charm and grace that, for a very brief moment, he understood the cook's reactions.
#31 - Sacred
Her memories were sacred, Zoro understood that, and that was the reason why he didn't need to hear Nojiko's story.
#32 - Farewells
Sanji was already complaining about it, but Zoro knew better; he was sure the witch wasn't staying after all they had gone through, after she had gained her freedom.
#33 - World
His world had been shaken; how was he supposed to react to such a confession?
#34 - Formal
The formality with which she adressed him only meant one thing; his debt was going to increase.
#35 - Fever
As he watched her, he knew for a fact that she was suffering, and he wondered how much it would take them to find the damn doctor.
#36 - Laugh
Despite being mad at him, Nami was still glad that, after these two years, he hadn't forgotten how to laugh.
#37 - Lies
She was a woman that could lie with ease, but to him, her eyes were always telling him the truth.
#38 - Forever
"It seems your debt will be on forever" commented Nami "which means I will have to stick with you forever"
#39 - Overwhelmed
Sanji was initially overwhelmed by the news, but then he realized the marimo was serious and gave them his blessing (which Zoro didn't think they need, but Nami kicked him to remain silent).
#40 - Whisper
Robin saw Nami whispering something to Zoro's ear that made him smile and then retreat to her room, Zoro left to go to the bathroom about a minute later; it seemed she wouldn't be able to sleep on her bed this night.
#41 - Wait
She tapped her foot, impatient, as the swordsman headed towards her; "it took you one entire hour to make that ten minute walk from the docks idiot!"
#42 - Talk
Franky asked Zoro once what did he have to talk with Nami about, which he replied that they didn't talk, if he knew what he meant; Sanji (who knew what he meant and had overheard the conversation) threw several kitchen knifes at the marimo for his blunt statement while Franky laughed.
#43 - Search
Even if she searched for it, she would find no sign of imperfection on Zoro's body; scars were just reminders to him, not signs of weakness.
#44 - Hope
She just hoped he hadn't changed much on those two years; she missed so much having someone to blackmail with ease.
#45 - Eclipse
Neither Zoro nor Nami found any interest in the eclipse, and so they spent their time separated from the crew, investigating the island on their own.
#46 - Gravity
'Gravity's a bitch' thought Zoro as he separated himself from Nami's body, where he had fallen.
#47 - Highway
"Look at these currents, it's almost like a highway!" "... a what, witch?" "never mind"
#48 - Unknown
Heading to the unknown territories of love seemed dangerous, but neither of them was afraid of the dark; they had been through worse.
#49 - Lock
She entered the bathroom, locked the door and smirked; time to make that marimo a special punishment for his delayed pay.
#50 - Breathe
As he regained her breath, Nami tried to remember all that had happened (the bar, the drinking contest, the alcohol - so much alcohol - and the dancing, those moves that ended on the bed...), but in the end she decided not to freak out; she didn't regret one bit of last night, and she didn't think Zoro either by the way he was holding her now.
