Seeley never intended to be a hero; he only wanted to protect her.

Booth always laughs when he remembers how cold Brennan used to be as regards children, because everytime he sees her with Christine he realizes how far away from that memory she was now.

She had way too more boxes that he had ever expected, but since he was moving them to their house he didn't mind the amount at all.

When that hurricane came, Booth had been relieved to see her but at the same time very worried; why couldn't she just stay home like a normal pregnant woman would do?

She was gracious like a swan, and beautiful as one... but he wouldn't say that out loud, because she would only look at him with that stoic look of hers and claim that that wasn't true, since humans can't have wings.

When her declaration was received with a silent smile, she knew that Booth was just as happy for this baby as her.

Their journeys would take them to different places, yet destiny had brought them back to the USA... fate really wanted them to keep working together, huh?

Whenever she felt weak, she always had her partner to prevent her from falling.

The mask she had built for so many years eventually fell down, but Booth didn't feel scared of her tears; he just hugged her and comforted her, and for that, she was inmensly thankful.

Her icy glare eventually melted into a compassionate look as she observed Booth playing with their daughter, and she even forgot the reason she was mad in the first place.

Had Booth been a minute late, she would've fallen down the stairs, but luckily -as always- he was there to catch her... and remind her not to overdue herself during pregnancy.

Temperance never changed her name to Joy Keenan, but that didn't mean she had forgotten it all, and Booth silently agreed with her everytime the subject came up.

Eventually, she was convinced by her partner and followed him to the dance floor, where both of them danced to their guilty pleasure, 'Hot Blooded'.

"You're not supposed to make those remarks in bed, it's awkward Bones!" "I was simply remarking on the good anatomical composition of your body; it's nothing to be ashamed of, Booth"

Brennan knew those wooden crosses were something sacred to him (for reasons she couldn't comprehend, of course) so she allowed Seeley to hang one (but just one!) of them on top of Christine Angela's cradle.

One of the hardest things in his life was getting on that airplane to Afghanistan, leaving her behind.

Even with a fever, she would've gone to work... but of course, Booth forced her to stay in, and even stayed with her the whole time.

Her laughter filled the room as Booth frowned; oh, how much he hated those squint jokes he didn't get.

He could tell that it was a lie, that she didn't want them to part ways, but nevertheless he left... one of his greatest mistakes, he later discovered.

Life may not last forever, but as long as he was alive, he didn't want to move from Bones' side.
#39 - Overwhelmed
Zack felt overwhelmed by all the new information, but in the end he ended up smiling and commenting on how glad he was that the woman who had visited, who he admired and adored so much, was getting the chance to find love with the man that he knew right from the beginning liked her.
#40 - Whisper
It was in a low, almost unaudible whisper, yet Booth could've sworn that, before she fell asleep, Brennan whispered him "I love you..."
#41 - Wait
She didn't care if she was pregnant now, she hated the waiting; she wasn't useless, and even if Booth was only trying to take care of her, she wasn't going to let him do all the action.

The way she talked always drove him crazy; why couldn't she just talk like a normal person for a change?

He knew that, for much that he searched, he would never find a woman as unique as Bones...

She had hoped for a family when she was younger, and it had took her time and tears, but eventually she found it with him.

"I do not understand this novel, why does the girl chase after a creature whose purpose is to murder humans?" "Bones, can you leave that book and investigate this girl's death, please?"

By the speed at which she was going, he would gladly rename this road 'highway to hell'.
