Somehow, perhaps thanks to the alcohol, it was actually pleasant for him to walk besides Bela, and even her sarcasm seemed funnier now... well, either he was very drunk, or there was something very wrong with him now.

She accepted and faked a faint again; she should've guessed that if Dean didn't like the suit, eh probably wouldn't like the dance either.

It was a pity that out of her last ten years on Earth, she only got to spend little less than one with the person she wanted to spend them all.

Dean wondered where Bela was right now, if she was a demon now, if she was different... then, with a smirk, she remembers that woman was a demon alright, be it on Earth or Hell.

He knew he had nothing to worry about; if Bela had been able to survive this long, she must've learned a few tricks, and he knows how she would laugh if he shows concern.

There was no way to quit the hunter lifestyle; luckily, she was a woman whose life was similar to a hunter and knew the supernatural world, so he didn't need to quit hunting for her.

Bela jumped, but it wasn't high enough; fortunately, Dean grabbed her hand and pulled her up, both escaping the ghost barely in time.

"Stop being such a buffoon and help me steal this" stated Bela, tired of his childish comments.

Observing the jousting equipment the spirit used when alive, Dean wondered aloud if it would've suited him; Bela said that he would look more of an idiot than usual, and Sam agreed.

"Where did you get there jewels, Bela?" "from an old job back in California" "... so you stole them" "I'd prefer to say they were the payment for putting a spirit to rest" "stolen it is, then"

It just wasn't fair; why did her ten years had to finish when she had just now found a reason to keep living?

Dean hated her evil smirk; it meant she had done something bad to him and he hadn't even noticed it yet.

Her sorrow may've not moved Dean back then, but back in hell he sure did apologize while being tortured.

"Your stupidity amazes me more everyday" sighed Bela, removing the farting bag from under her seat before sitting... and placing it under Sam's seat, an action he approved.

He had taken her comment as another of her sarcastic remarks, but he internally hoped the offer for angry sex was open at the end of the event.

The sordid details of her work made him conclude one thing; she truly had suffered in the past.

She had her fair share of sins, so she was no one to judge, but that past had taught her how to identify another sinner, and Dean was no one to judge either.

"Stupid game" he cussed, throwing the pack of cards back at her, and before she could claim her prize he added "I'm not paying you!"

He was in the middle of nowhere, tracking down the demon who wanted to send him to hell, yet his mind was still with the crying woman in her hotel room, getting ready to greet said demon.

Sam could be the neutral voice in their arguments, but they never allowed him to have any say in the decisions.

"You look slightly paler than before" "yeah well, hell has that effect in people, doesn't it Dean?"

They were near each other, but the silence and anger between them kept them so distant as if they were miles apart.

It was a natural thing to do to her, and Dean understood it but he warned her, nect time she took something without telling him he was going to kill her for real.

Dean looked towards the horizon and thought of Bela; she didn't come out of hell, and he wondered if she was a demon by now...
