Our section leader is amazing, and always gets first chair, so this one girl and I are always going for second chair. She got it for marching, I narrowly beat her for concert.

flute, section leader, apparently we're not doing chairs this year. but I was first/second chair last year, and the other first/second chair person from last year graduated

Marching season:
We don't have chairs in the pit.
I can easily say that I was 3rd of 14, though.

Concert season:
Symphonic band - Third chair percussionist
Concert band - First chair bari sax
