Now that you mentioned it - Josh also like to smell his stinky socks after he takes them off and makes the stinky stinky wave. He thinks it's funny

Well done yi yi!!! ;)

yo, maybe u should give him a baby toothbrush to self-service so he stays interested in the idea of cleaning teeth. or just apply the yummy flavour toothpaste on the corner of a face towel to let him chew. eating apple also helps clean the teeth a bit. if he's not eating that much sugary stuff, its alright to skip brushing here and there. saliva will actually flush the bits of food into the stomach, no worries. trust me, cos u know where i work right? :> its all jus another demonstration of God's perfect design.

jean's into EATING toothpaste now..... well that's another story....

I did buy the apple-banana flavoured First tooth paste but he doesn't like it! He does eat apple quite often so there's hope there! And nope, no sugary stuff from me except natural sugars found in fruits ( but Daddy gives him ice cream sometimes * big stern disapproving stare* )

and oh, some sugars in his yoghurt I suppose...

Ha ha,well, kids are just kids! One doesn't want to brush teeth, one eats toothpaste. Go figure!!!

how about getting him to enjoy it as an activity? i started off with showing shannon how I brush my teeth and how fun it is to spit the water into the toilet sink. slowly, she got the idea, and she loves spitting the water out and brushing her teeth following it. think you've got to move on to the toothbrush by this time too. we use the Oral B stage 2 ones. (think you have to use the stage 1 ) - can you get your mom to bring them over for you? easily available from cold storage/guardian pharmacy/robinsons. Oral B. Tell me if you need me to buy it and pass to your mom.

It's tough now cos he still can't stand on his own firmly so I can't do the whole sink demo. I've got some Pigeon toothbrushes - will try those first and ask my mum to get the Oral B ones!

wish me luck!
