i don't think Pooh is a good series for kids learning how to talk, but then again, Shannon was fascinated with the characters and actually did learn how to count whilst watching one of the DVDs. I agree with all your 3 points, and I was quite confused myself with Winnie's gender plus I just hate the way Tigger speaks with the lisp!

Yeah visually it's very nice and the characters are so cute. Pity abt the voices and dialogue really. So I guess the best we can do is to stick to BOOKs and toys, not too much film.

well if you think abt it , nothing is really wholesome -

Lyrics to "rock a bye baby" is damn scary. "Down will come baby cradle and all!" ????

Then again, thank God they'll all grow up knowing that it's all nonsense and life's not like that at all. No purple dinos, bears are in fact very scary & not cuddly creatures, hippos can eat you up in a split second and not eat marbles on a little game board , fish only have 7 sec memory so Finding Nemo would be virtually impossible... etc.

ha ha ha , now here's the cynical adult talking! We're definitely sisters.
