Thanks babe, but rest is something that eludes me at this point. Hubby is already trying his best to take over from me in terms of caring for Josh. I have moved myself to the guest room to sleep at night but in the day, I still have to chase after Josh so it's hardly "healing time"...

did both Js catch the same bug (that is now passed on to you)?
think it'd take a while to recover if it's such a resilient bug. plus, i think you were busy in Sg so now your body is taking its time to catch up on rest. how's the weather in NC now?
in Sg now, there's advertisements reminding pple to go for flu jabs when they travel for the hols.

I think it's a combination of things - Josh caught the flu first ( he had a cough also) , then passed on to me + exhaustion from travelling + weather in NC. Super hot in the day, cold & windy at night. I didn' feel good on the plane already - was shivering.

Was trying to post a reply to your comment that you posted a few days ago and wasn't able to as it was a protected entry. So here is my reply back to your comment. Hope you get well soon!

It was tough juggling studies with Karu till he went to daycare when he was 13 months old. I agonized about putting him in daycare but after I put him in, I was so happy that I was actually able to do work and that he was also very happy to be with other kids as he enjoys other kids' company. We will be here in the carolinas for a few more years I think. Am not sure how long but it won't be for too long.

I always thought that New Caledonia was in Australia. But I just happened to walk by a global map and realized that it was an island out by itself and french speaking! Must be quite an adventure to be out there. If you don't mind, I am now curious as to what industry your husband is working in?

Hi!! yes i've decided to lock my entries to friends after hearing too many stories abt random people reading others' blogs. I've added you as a friend so you should be able to read all my entries :)

Yup New Cal is part of the pacific islands like Tahiti ( French polynesia), Vanuatu, Fiji, Cook islands, Solomon islands etc... not related to Australia at all. Actually New Cal belongs to France.

It is an adventure alright! ;) Both good and bad bits... but I guess that's life. Everything in one big package :) We're quite happy here but ready to go after the contract's up by end 2007.

My hubby is in Nestle, the food company. In charge of marketing here in New Cal.
