ha! talking about Kota Tinggi... we drove all the way there from Desaru, thinking it would be a nice treat for the children and guess what, they have built a wall/fence around the whole place and to get in, you need to pay.
entrance fees were like RM$9 per adult, RM$5 per child AND RM$5 per car... so a family of 4 driving in would have had to fork out RM$33. guess what... we turned back! what a rip-off! insert *[chey]* here too!!
no wonder the place is deserted! at least you got to see the cute little miniature waterfall for free! ;D
ha ha sorry to disappoint you but we had to pay abt S$7 per pax to get in!! That's S$ 14 for me and hubby!!! Just to walk 100m , climb some rocks and see the little falls.
I would have gladly paid for kota tinggi ! BTW, didn't it used to be free when we were kids??? So was it crowded now that people need to pay?
Ya loh!!! We heard the sound of running water from the entrance and envisioned a biggish fall. After paying and excitedly heading there.. it was like "huh??" that's it ???
If you see 2-3 entries ago with Josh's fly-away afro hairdo.. you'll know why we had to cut his hair. I'd wanted him to keep it longer.. more stylish but it was getting too long and hot for him, so we chopped off quite a bit. You like the new look??? A bit "nerdy " tho... ha ha ha
but honestly, I rather enjoyed kota tinggi when we were kids ( the ONE place I like in Cty M). Our parents were very chill - just let us climb everywhere on the slippery rocks. On hindsight, it was sooooooo easy to just slip , fall and break something but I guess that was the parenting style then - close 1 eye and hope for the best ha ha ha
