Creative Ideas for Teaching Latin and Greek

I remember our Latin teacher giving us Italian cinema/film descriptions to read, just to show how much you could read from the Latin, and talk about how words and grammar have changed.

I also remember the daft little phrases and mnemonics she gave us, such as "Eeyore says errr" to remember that -ior on the end of an adjective makes it the comparative (longior=longer.)

I'll suggest that. It's probably better for the higher classes than the first and second years (which is the pair of groups she was teaching at the time she got the comments) but it's a good idea.
