Since we're sharing things we "love" about public transit sarcasmosupremo January 29 2005, 01:03:09 UTC
I know, I know, I'm on the CTA, but as public transit is fairly similar, I've just gotta chime in--you know me :)

...for every time some asshole/bitch (depending solely on your preference) decides to go off at random because somebody stepped on them, despite the fact their legs were draped across the aisle

...for every time a bus has passed you while you stood directly underneath the bus stop sign. Not because it was the wrong bus, but because the driver, in a fit of 'customer service', just decided to leave you there.

yeah, and how about that metro in DC. . .running on time. . .being nicely cleaned. . .and having more than enough room for every. . .oh, wait. Guess it's jsut another reason DC is better than NY and Chi-Town.

yeah seriously - that metro is totally awesome. every single time i come to DC i cry because our train system is so inferior - then again, it's older so of course it's going to be clunkier. you guys are just snotty young upstarts, that's it. however, if you want to know who wins in the race to have the worst public transit in the USA, you need only go to Boston and take a ride on the T... truly an awful experience.

anyway, the train sucks but in all other ways new york is the best city on the planet, so... eat me, metro.

DC metro may be cleaner...but nobody cares.

Why?

Because NY rocks and DC plays the recorder.

Besides, does G Dub live there.

Eck.

Who wants to live in the same city with THAT?!
