It is getting a bit unmanageable over in the old thread, lol, so I figured I'd make it a bit easier on you guys. Thank you again for all the feedback and comments, I am overwhelmed. ♥!Dreadful hangovers and walks of shame aside, it turned out that the antiques convention had been a worthwhile investment of Charles's time. They made out lucky at a few estate sales over the next month, and entered October on an upswing. Christmas was naturally a big time of year for retail; he wasn't worried about that. It was how they did in the new year that would really determine the future of Bindings, so Charles was determined to get a head start and make this the best Christmas they'd ever had ( ... )

Charles was silent. Of course he would be. If it had been his things, Raven's things-- he thought of the Shakespeare he'd given her almost a decade ago, how devastated she'd be if it were ruined. Of course he'd run out for a replacement as soon as possible ( ... )

OMG, THEY HAD BREAKFAST TOGETHER AND HAD A CONVERSATION. I can picture it so clearly in my mind -- beautiful autumn morning, books and handsome men on a bench.

Erik's smile -- is he thinking of another time at another bar? The mystery is killing me.

And LOL at Charles worrying he'll develop a crush. (I think you're more into him thank you think you are, my friend.)

I HOPE THEY KEEP BUMP INTO (AND THEN AGAINST) ONE ANOTHER.

I seriously look for updates on this every damn day. You have no idea what joy it brings. I know you have other obligations but please update this as soon as you can, it's absolutely enchanting. Keep up the wonderful work.

Lmao I love the way you guys think. But the dude in the alley was just a dude in an alley; I'm not that tricksy. XD Which isn't to say there won't be future drunk hookups... Just that potentially they haven't happened yet. XD XD XD

Can I just say that not only do I love the updated parts (eating breakfast together!), but I love that you consistently update this, without leaving us hanging. I've been burned by too may eternal WIPs in other fandoms, but knowing that you actually care enough to update regularly is really special and amazing.

In short: I love you, Author!anon! Keep it up!

lol thanks, i'm sorry to have left you hanging even for a couple of days, but i'm back now. no fear, i'm absolutely finishing this, even if it takes me weeks! i'm glad you're liking this, hearing that makes me even more motivated to keep writing. <3 <3 <3
