Gen: wee!Kurt, Uncle Erik anonymous June 13 2011, 16:16:18 UTC
I would like to see some bb!Nightcrawler! Maybe Uncle Erik teaches him German and tickles his little blue toes.

Maybe Raven invites Charles over to visit his nephew prompting a reunion with Erik, either slash or gen.

Can involve Mystique's relationship with his father (or mother) but it's up to you.

I don't know if this was exactly what you were looking for or not, OP, but I hope it's close enough to satisfy!

i. On Monday morning, Charles Xavier spent forty-five minutes staring up at the ceiling and trying to think of a reason to get out of bed.

Sometimes it was easy-Hank wants me to look over the new Cerebro modifications this morning, I need to go Christmas shopping, I have physical therapy at two o’clock, Sean wants pancakes for breakfast-but there were mornings when it was hard to think of anything beyond the empty space on the sheets beside him, his thoughts circling endlessly around the void where another mind had once shone bright and warm. Charles picked at the absence like a scab, trying to pull open the edges of the scarred knot of emotion and memory that lived under his breastbone; it was the feel of soft cotton on his legs, the first few notes of a forgotten song, the memory of a scent he could neither place nor recall.

Calloused hands against sun warmed skin, dawn light pooling on rumpled white sheets; ( ... )

This was incredibly beautiful, anon. You have such a wonderful way with imagery and the character's voices, and I actually squealed out loud when Kurt said called Charles a angel. Gorgeous.

Omigosh this is beyond adorable. Kurt calling Charles angel (Raven and Erik calling Charles angel!) just blissed me out completely. Oh, please please please continue, this is utterly magical! I want to hug them all with reckless teary abandon. For you, for writing this story, you may have all the fluffy cuddles you wish.

Also need to mention, that first part where Charles is lying in bed damn near broke my heart. You do an amazing job of evoking and drawing out exactly how *much* he's lost and how much he misses it. Beautiful and heart-wrenching.

iii. On Tuesday morning, Charles used Cerebro to locate one Emma Frost. The message he sent when he did find her was short, polite, and inescapably pointed.

Ms. Frost, the boy is here at the mansion. I will allow him to leave with no one but his parents or Erik. I would appreciate it if you would pass this message on; a certain measure of haste may be appropriate. He spent the rest of the day helping Kurt and Ororo plant bluebells and hazel bushes in the gardens, watching as Ororo’s brash curiosity and unbridled energy drew the younger boy out of his shell. The springtime sun shone through patches in the clouds to dapple the ground with golden light, patches of bright warmth vanishing and shifting as the afternoon wore on. Around them, the earliest of the flowers were blooming, and tiny green buds dotted the branches of the trees ( ... )

Oh, this is lovely and a little sad and Charles as an angel!

Wee!Ororo and little Kurt and it's all so sweet. And the brotherhood is really no place to raise a child...
