Because of his past Erik doesn't like doctors, hospitals, medical equipment etc. But he trusts Charles - so I want to see Charles calming his friend, reassuring him that everything is alright, nobody's gonna hurt him etc.

Charles tells himself that if Erik isn’t better soon, something will have to be done. It started with a head-cold that Erik, predictably, ignored. After two weeks of sniffling and sneezing and coughing, he isn’t any better. In fact, Charles thinks he sounds worse

The moment the hospital is in view, Erik becomes agitated. He’s breathing raggedly, trying not to have a coughing fit, and his leg bounces in nervous anticipation. Charles parks the car and goes round to open Erik’s door
