Charles/Erik, Charles dies, Erik carries his body

Erik doesn't leave with Azazel because Charles is fatally wounded (Azazel doesn't offer to help or Hellfire Club ditches them or something). Instead he carries Charles off the beach and back to civilization.

Either he is carrying Charles' dead body because he died there on the beach, or he's carrying Charles, hoping to take him to a hospital in time, but Charles doesn't make it.

Mostly, I just want to see Erik dealing with carrying Charles' dead body. For hours. For miles. Knowing he was partially responsible for the weight in his arms.

When you can't run any more, you crawl

-Charles ran and yelled and tackled him to the ground. They fight, blood splatters across the sand. A gun fires at the helmet and Erik responds-

And when, when you can't do that any more, you-
