Charles discovers Erik sneaking out in the middle of the night. He ignores it the first time, but then Erik's nighttime trips becob me more and more frequent. Charles then decides that instead of reading Erik's mind, he's going to follow the latter the next time he leaves.

Erik, it turns out, has been visiting a brothel.
