Castiel has never had a hangover before, but from what he's seen of Dean's -- ahem -- passtimes, he's about 97.3% sure he's suffering from one in the same.
After carving up his vessel for a rather tricky rescue plan (apologies to Jimmy's departed soul), Castiel had committed the angel equivalent of self-flagellation and had banished himself, along with a handful of other angels, to an undisclosed location.
The other angels had been called up to Heaven immediately after their banishment. Castiel knew this because he'd been aware of a blinding white light and a glass-shattering screech decimating the immediate area before he'd went and passed out on a large potted plant.
Now that he's awake, he's curious to find that he's migrated from a purple hydrangea to someone's plush, downy bed. He sits upright immediately, then blinks when a sudden, shocking pain knifes through his stomach.
That's new.
The act of laying back down gives him the chance to focus on his surroundings, and the first word that comes to mind is lavish. Hand- ( ... )
