What if Shaw wasn't the only villain in the film? What if Emma was secretly harboring a dark entity that supported Shaw to feed it's own needs? And what if that dark being took an all too unpleasant interest in the highly powerful psychic known as Charles Xavier?

(long story short: Charles vs The Shadow King fic)

Right? Like he's such an awesome villain, and he and Professor X first fought each other sometime around this decade in the comics continuity (not that what happens in the comics is really translated over very well into the movies to begin with, but repressing and moving on now), and their encounter was such a compelling factor in Professor X's later decision to form the X-men, that it's so lame he hasn't been brought into the movies or even just been mentioned in passing yet.

SO OBVIOUSLY SOME INTREPID FAN WRITER NEEDS TO COME AND RECTIFY THIS, AM I RIGHT OR AM I RIGHT? :)b
