Transgender character

I want a fic exploring the possibility that one of the characters is transgender. Maybe that's why Alex preferred solitary confinement? Maybe Raven's actually originally male? Maybe Charles is physically a woman uses his powers so people perceive him as a man? It's all up to you, anon. For pairings, though, I would prefer Alex/Hank, Raven/Hank, or Charles/Erik.
