In the X-Men cartoon*, there's a WHOLE SEASON where Xavier and Magneto are trapped in the Savage Land after being tricked to come there by a fake distress call from each other and have to escape and find the bad guys together (think wading through jungles, fighting dinosaurs and savages, etc - Charles miraculously becomes un-paralyzed, too) and it's basically one big slashfest. I want to see this happen in movieverse, at a point where Charles and Erik have been enemies for a while.

I was legit about to post this exact same thing but with the tag "Feel silly posting this since I'm probably going to fill it anyway"
I watched Til Death Do Us Part like, yesterday! Legit! Ah, so much love. They both rush to each other's aide without backup or anything because they think the other one is in pain.
Direct quote from Xavier: "I have been called away on a personal matter of the greatest importance."

BRB, gonna go watch the Savage Land season and squee and maybe write.

omg, i need this in my life. someone needs to write an EPIC Trapped on Island fic right now with snuggling-for-warmth, and other lovely cliches and bickering.

OMG! This episode! This! This was the first (and one of only a couple) episodes I watched by random, when I was wayyy younger and it convinced me of the canon-ness of Magneto/Xavier. I mean, this was long before I knew who these characters were, or what sex was or homosexuality or even shipping and I was convinced that the two were in love with each other the wa parents are in love with each other.

In retrospect, I was probably *made* for slashy-fandoms... =_=
