"I shouldn't have told you," Erik says, and he knows its superstition, knows its conjecture, but all the same he also knows it's true. "This is my fault."

...and ngl, my reaction in a Groundhog Day scenario, somewhere around Week #2, would just be, "FUCK THIS, I'M GOING TO BED," and then I'd sleep for daaaaays. I don't think Erik is going to be quite so ~melodramatic about it (or...stay in bed), but. THIS IS JUST TRUTH IN FICTION. ;]

I think I'd take the opportunity to read a bunch of stuff I never get the time to, watch a ton of movies (that I also don't get the time to), and sun myself (go swimming wheeee), and try new things (I'm mostly thinking food here), and maybe doing some stuff that's not strictly legal (hey, if you get caught you'll only have to spend half the night locked up amiryte?), maybe poke around what other people REALLY think of you (if they admit it, you'll know but they won't have remembered telling you), and um. Stuff.
Eventually it'd get boring though, yeah. It'd end up in a bunch of sleep and lethargy and ennui up until one starts going quietly mad before possibly entertaining thoughts of suicide. Eugh.

He eats breakfast in his room, arriving in the hanger just in time to board the plane with the others. Charles throws an inquisitive glance his way, and when Erik deliberately turns his back he hears that voice in his head: Everything alright?
Fine, he says, abrupt, and buckles himself in to the first seat he sees. It isn't until they've been in the air for nearly ten minutes that he realizes it's the seat closest to Moira's
