Erik/Charles: Psychic Bond

One of my favorite tropes.
Erik and Charles are psychically bonded mysteriously and cannot be apart without physical/psychic pain. Erik starts hearing Charles's thoughts/feeling his emotions.

[Wow, okay, I don't even know what to say about the reaction to the first part of this, except thank you, and I was completely bowled over. Not sure if I'll always be updating this quickly, but all the positive feedback really got me off to a running start. Even if I am still moving a bit slowly, lol. Things will start kicking in more by the next bit. And again, thank you everyone who commented! Erik watches him, unblinking, and refuses to follow Charles’ down that line of thought. He isn’t being defensive. It’s simply that his thoughts are his thoughts, his nightmares his own, and someone else nudging their way into them is not an idea he’s keen on entertaining
