Hank and Alex are already together, and Hank's been spending too much time with Raven, working on the serum. Alex becomes insecure, and starts to think that Hank is cheating on him. Cue possessive!Alex + heated sex.

I know I've seen a prompt similar to this before - where Charles and Erik travel into the modern world for some reason - but I want to see one that focuses on how weird it is for them; especially if Charles gets along pretty well with all the new scientific discoveries and being able to read people's minds for what to expect, while Erik is the one who gets overwhelmed when many of the tricks he formerly used to get by in the world no longer work, coupled with being an extremely young Holocaust survivor in a world where there is Holocaust-denialism. Looking for a future-world where it's as if they vanished in the past (regardless of whether they get back), so the mutant infrastructure is different.

Many bonus points if this stress is what gets them together. ;) Also, if you venture into fix-it land and have it so that the world is a lot more accepting of mutants without Charles and Erik making grand gestures all the time in the past.

I've got the first chapter up of a fic where 62 Erik, Charles and Raven somehow end up at the modern mansion. The chapter I'm working on now will have them come into contact with some modern stuff that flumoxes them.

I've read it! <3 It's very nice and well-written, but I also wanted to see something where they pretty much have to make their own way and the stress of being in the future is the main conflict. :)
