Young graduates Charles Xavier and Hank McCoy (and anyone else you want to write) do lots of it. FOR SCIENCE!

Looking for humor, not necessarily crack (yes, yes, I know). The reason I say FOR SCIENCE! isn't just a meme, I actually uh have a kink for science. Scientific humor is the best humor. Also, if you make it very period-correct, I will love you forever. Not required though, I know from firsthand experience how hard it is to jam in historical details.

Alex/Hank/Sean, Charles/Erik... Ski Trip Gone Bad.

Ski Trip gone bad.

Alex doesn't know how to ski/snowboard, due to being in foster homes and prison for a while. So Hank and Sean take it upon themselves to teach him. Too bad the three get lost and stranded during a snowstorm. Forced to conserve body heat until the others find them, they must try to stay alive.

Alex and Sean being the most vulnerable to the cold, Alex especially, since his core body temperature is slightly different than humans, making the change in temperature more dangerous for him. Hank, due to his blue form is able to conserve more heat tries to keep the other two from developing hypothermia.

The others finally find them, after the storm. All alive, but everyone in different states of hypothermia. Cue the others taking care of them and trying to get their body temperatures back to normal.

Bonus if Charles and Erik are crazy good at skiing and always like to share hot cocoa together.
Bonus if Sean snowboards.
Bonus if Sean and Hank like to tease Alex about his skiing/snowboarding.

So I may or may not have taken your prompt and run with it.

Because I realize that what I ended up with didn't actually meet your full requirements, but it's based off your prompt so, I figure it might be at least RTYI: 201 Days (In 15 Acts)

Charles/Erik, Best friends, secretly in love

I'm a huge sucker for the trope where they've been best friends for years and may be slightly (but secretly) in love with each other and it takes a huge event (like someone getting engaged, or falling ill) to wake them up and realise they're madly in love.

Bonus for a huge dramatic confession scene that ends with lots of smut.

(They can be human or mutant, it's up to anon.)
