But why can't we do it? Shouldn't we be allowed to have a choice?
Nobody in their right mind would vote for having Round Ten as the last one. So that's not going to happen, then what's the point of this? Why exactly are we being given the option to vote and decide if we'd, in essence, like to end this community, when that's not really the issue?
It's the moderating that's the issue, which we're not allowed to have an opinion in.
Err...I realize that the mods are not exactly getting along, or whatever, but does all of this really need to interfere with the amazing writing going on here?
It would be a horrible shame for Round 10 to be the last one.
i'd hate to see this turned to an archive, but i hate the thought of all of these prompts just sitting here, since if round 10 is the last active round, it will probably die out around here. might as well just take care of it all? nip it in the bud?
i don't know the whole story of mod disagreements and frankly i don't care. They should just take care of it all or let people vote on modding.
it seems to me you are not a very reliable person so I fear this community will be deleted despite your....reassurances, and all this wonderful writing will dissapear. why don't you just relinquish your moding to someone else less confrontational??? or is your goal to piss off as many people as possible?? cuz it+s working
I suggest everyone move, reprompt and repostnautiusmaximusSeptember 14 2011, 00:36:42 UTC
I don't give a crap whether this comm is kept or not, I won't be completing my story here. I'll start over again on the other meme. I have read some great stuff here and hope people just go reprompt and repost over there.
Enjoy your "crickets" OS, they should be starting up pretty soon...
Please keep it the way it is! I know there are oodles of unfilled prompts, but people are constantly coming up with new and exciting ideas, and it would be a shame to let those go to waste.
Totally agree. I hope we can keep going here. There's already so much established and despite what's going on mod-wise this is a really fantastic, supportive comm with amazing prompts, artists, feedbackers.
There is so much amazing work going on here and it seems as though people are still really active. Lots of the prompts in 9 got fills or mini-fills and there isn't tons of repetition.
And I want to give a huge thanks to Stardustcities--you're awesome, bb, and a fantastic mod. Totally love your McFassy comm.
Exactly. I haven't picked up on all the drama and Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn. I want fast-moving rounds with (sometimes) creative prompts and fills. No move and copy all my stuff to not lose it et cet.
