003- [action] chores...

[It is well into the fall season now and the leaves are off the trees. So Senri's drone!mom has asked him to do a little yardwork. Being the good, obedient son he is, he went out to rake the leaves. But she didn't tell him where to stop. And that yard has leaves in it too. So let's rake those leaves. And those. And now he's in front of your house,

[Senri will find that, along with the leaves, there are small pieces of wire and scrap metal scattered about. Good luck figuring out what to do with that!]

[Hmmmm.... well, they aren't leaves. So..... Separate pile. Now there is a pile of leaves and a pile of scrap.]

[Salieri comes out of his house and notices this industrious young lad raking up the leaves in his yard.]

"Ah... thank you, that's quite helpful of you."

[He digs into his pocket, pulling out a crisp new dollar bill and handing it to the boy.]

"Here. Please accept this for your trouble."

[stares..... Then smiles and nods in thanks and accepts the dollar. Which goes into a small book. Next to the soup can label.]

[He nods. Of course he will. And goes back to the yard work. He'll be doing this all day, or until someone tells him otherwise.]

[After a while, there'll be a boy, setting the piles on fire because that is what you do with leaves before people started to worry about air pollution and acid smoke and rain and all the good stuff.]

[Watches him light one of the piles on fire. Well, he has no idea why anyone would do that, but whatever. Begins a new pile of leaves.]

[Continues that for a while. They leave small piles of ash behind as Senri works his way down the road.]

[Lucky for Senri that Viktoria's treebeast was resting when he started on her lawn. The huge, gnarly tree slowly groans awake as it notices there's an intruder on its master's property. You have about thirty seconds before it goes from "asleep" to "kill". Viktoria herself may or may not be watching from the window.]

[Yeah, see, thing about Senri is that he's kind of spacey. He doesn't even notice the tree, and is concentrating on making her lawn all nice and neat.]

[plantenough]

[That just makes the tree's work easier, as far as it's concerned. It slowly uproots itself and stalks over to the intruder, curling its thick branches into a fist and- oh, dear, Viktoria figures she'd better do something. She doesn't want her present taken away so soon because it killed somebody. She steps outside.]

Ahem.

[The tree pauses.]

[Cooro's just kinda hanging around his house when suddenly, there is a Senri in his yard.

Wait what.]

Senri?!

[He stops and turns at the sound of his name, blinking in surprise. Unfortunately he hasn't regained his original memory book yet, so he regards Cooro with confusion. There is something very familiar about this kid, but what?]

[Have a crow kid tugging on your arm. Friend get! Now if only they knew what happened to Husky...]
