Character Name: Nepeta Leijon

Personality: Nepeta is a highly curious and playful character, much like a kitten. She loves to play games with her friends, which are normally light role playing games. However, she doesn't participate in any of the Extreme Role Plays because Equius keeps her from doing so. Nepeta is always willing to make a new friend, as seen when she tries to befriend Jade. She has a naive and rather optimistic view of the world around her, most likely due to her isolation from others because she lives alone in a cave. She also dislikes sadness, more commonly seen in how she likes to have happy and fun role plays with her friends.
Out of all the trolls, she is the most agreeable of them. Normally, she tends to try to pacify people rather than fight them. This doesn't mean that Nepeta is a pushover! She's just as prone to frustration and anger as the next person, and she doesn't always like every troll/person she meets. For example, she doesn't seem too terribly fond of Eridan Ampora, saying that he gives her the creeps in a conversation with Equius. Nepeta is also fairly passive, but she won't hesitate to fight if she needs to.
One of her most important relationships is with one Equius Zahhak, her moirail. She calms him down, and he keeps her out of harm's way (for the most part). Nepeta has a deep affection and understanding of him, despite some of their arguments. She has no trouble showing this affection for she greets him by pouncing on him in the Land of Little Cubes and Tea (LOLCAT). Her interactions with him also shows that she's sympathetic to other people, willing to listen to their problems and try to work them out. At one point, she and Equius have a discussion on feelings for about an hour on a pile of robot parts.
Nepeta is also a "shipper." She loves to pair her friends romantically with each other, and even dedicates a wall to it, the Shipping Wall. She has a preference for the red romances (redroms), and is very picky about the black romances (blackroms). Nepeta treats her wall seriously, updating it each time a new ship arrives or a new development occurs. For example, once Aradia's soul was transferred to a robotic body, she went to every picture of Aradia and changed them to reflect the change. She creates a story board for each ship, combining art with essentially fanfiction.
She's cheerful and energetic. It's not often that she's seen without a smile. This is likely because she has had no reason to feel sad in the lifestyle she chose. Even when her lusus dies, Nepeta looks on the bright side by reviving him through the use of the kernelsprite. She also tells Equius after a sad and serious farewell on his part that they'll meet again instead of saying "good-bye." As stated previously, she dislikes sadness, and this extends to herself as well as other people. This is also why she doesn't like playing with Vriska, as much as she tries to stay peaceful and friendly with her.

Strengths: She's a skilled huntress due to her diet of small animals, learning how to hunt thanks to her lusus (a double-mouthed cat named Pounce de Leon). Nepeta is also someone who is generally out-going and sociable. She can keep a secret, and she's always willing to lend an ear to anyone who wants or needs it.
Her primary weapon is a clawkind. She primarily uses her claws and sharp teeth, and her reflexes are much like a cat's. Her sense of smell is also powerful, but otherwise she has nothing supernatural in regards to what she can do.
Weaknesses: Nepeta is prone to rashness if someone does something terrible to her friends--or at least to her moirail. She's also naive and rather passive, not putting up too much of a fuss if she's given an order by Equius or, in certain instances, Karkat. Equius normally has the final say. Nepeta doesn't have any psychic powers or above-average strength in troll standards.

What are some of your plans for this character in their new environment? Nepeta is pretty much going to go with the flow, and make some new friends while she's at it. If she can help out with anything, then she'll do her best! I'm interested in seeing how her character develops here, and the kinds of relationships she can form with other characters.

It took a bit of self-control for Nepeta to not stick her nose in everything interesting that caught her eye. Actually being on Earth was different and more exhilarating than looking at it from behind a computer screen. She ignored the looks she got from some of the humans as she wandered the streets, finding it more fun to take in the sights and sounds of a bustling planet. After staying on a meteor in the Veil with 11 other trolls, it was refreshing to be back where there was more life. It was also a nice chance to finally meet some new people.
Idly, she wondered what kinds of small animals she could hunt for here. The silly tree-climbing rodents and birds looked tasty, at least. Nepeta saved that thought for another time. First, she wanted to get to know the world and city a little better. Maybe her troll friends were here, too! Even if they weren't, Nepeta would make the most of her situation. She had been on her own before, and this would be no different.
The catlike troll pulled out her cellphone, turning it over in her hands curiously. Never had she seen something quite like it before, at least not on Alternia. It didn't look as if it had a drawing function, which was too bad, but it looked like there was a camera function. She supposed that if she needed to, she could take a picture of her drawings and share them that way.
Nepeta looked up from studying the device, and realized sheepishly that she honestly had no idea where she was. She giggled softly, lightly bonking herself on the head for that lapse in judgment. Looking around, it didn't seem like it was too bad of a place. Feeling confident, the troll approached the first person she thought could help her.
"Hello! Can you help me? I kind of got lost, and I'm new here!" she said cheerfully.
