LJ Friends

I'll be happy when LJ implements their new "friends" features. As it is, it just doesn't do well. Who would've thought that a simple "friends" list would be such an issue for so many people?

But it is.

The age of 'friends' bullshit has come to an end. )

I accidently hit the 'post comment' button too soon.

anyway yeah, the only 'interesting' journals by people on my friends list belong to those that I've never met. they make up roughly 3/4ths of my friends list. I could honestly careless about my real friends journals, but I keep them there because I know them. weird but I never really thought about that until you said something similar.

Most of my friends list is made up of people I've never met too. In all reality, it would be cool to meet some of my LJ friends.

some how i think lj ment it to be an ease of use thing, but went arwy. I've had people add me to there friends list out of the blue while others ask. And most of the people on my lj are people who i either live with, live near, or talk alot to online (because they are far away). I agree its turned into a social status thing. but everything in the world has turned into a social status thing. cars, houses, jobs all of it seems to only prove your worth.

I'm surpised when people add me, i don't update alot because i don't do alot. And most of the post is nonsense. i guess in a way i try to just entertain people.

Yes, ease of use is a good reason. They're working on making it less socially concentrated again, which I applaud.
