I was only just coming to terms with being her "mother" before she was taken away. But... when comforting her, I had no problem calling myself her mother. I'm not certain how to feel about this, really.

Part of me feels it's wrong to take up that role, because I know it can never be permanent, and I could never be the true mother she deserves.
