To those of us heading into battle, I have discussed a solution with Adell about those Shifters that can disable magic and technology both.

I must first ask, who amongst us entering battle will not be hindred by these Shifts? It is very important that I have your help with this.

I was putting some thought into this but if I'm given just a couple minutes with my powers, I can make swords and other melee weapons for other people to use. After that, I don't need magic to fight.

Good. They will need to be well armed for this to work.

If I can get a list of what people need, I'll make it. Swords, lances, hammers, axes; it doesn't matter.

I would be hindered, though not too much. I can still fight with a sword even if my magic is disabled. Um...I know someone else who might be able to help, too.

If you can fight at all without magic, then you have the more important role of ensuring those protected by the device are not attacked by others while their power is sealed.

It's a good idea, in theory. But what if the Shifters begin working in pairs?

A device that will seal the abilities of those using it. A shield, of sorts. The Shifters can deactivate the shield, but not the powers it will be sealing.
