Author's Notes: This is a strange piece, but it's what came to me. So be it.
The first time Fraser asked him to get in the box, he knew everything about their relationship would change. Sure, they watched out for each other; they took bad guys down together. But this was different. This took trust.
“It’ll be okay, I promise. I would never hurt you.” And it was the truth; he could see it in Fraser’s eyes. Could read it in every line of his posture. So he trusted.
Still not happy about this, he took one last look at Fraser, and then shuffled uneasily into the box. Turning in the tight space, he cast miserable expressions at him as the door clanged shut in his face. He was afraid, and couldn’t help making a small noise of distress.
Immediately, Fraser reached out to him, fingers stretching through the bars. The touch was familiar, and it calmed him. Fraser’s voice was soft and gentle, only for him, as he spoke. “Thank you for doing this.” He leaned into the caress, reveling in the feel of Fraser’s hands on his body. “I love you, you know.”
He did. He nudged his nose against Fraser’s hand, and then rasped his tongue against his fingers. The feeling was mutual.
