What methods did you have, and if you tried multiple techniques, which was most effective for concealing your ink? Can you find really opaque taupe pantyhose? I really wouldn't trust make-up. Also, If it's just one spot on your leg you can ask your photog to remove it from the pics in editing. I'm not amazing with photoshop but I can still remove definitive things like tats, zits, bruises etc.

I'm getting married in May on a beach here not far from where my icon is in St. Augustine, FL, so pantyhose are a nope, especially because I'd have to be wearing full-on tights under a tea-length dress to hide the tattoo. It's also for a way to keep it unnoticed by my older family who are too conservative to understand my reasoning for even getting my tattoos in the first place. :)

IME the coverup kits don't work that great. I used one for my friend's wedding, in the photos you couldn't see the tattoo really so that was good but IRL it looked very weird, and a lot of people asked about it. She just got the kit from david's bridal. That said, I have heard *very* good things about Kat Von D's kit from sephora, but have yet to try it.

Over at weddingplans I asked the same question, and I got the picture I just linked posted in a comment. I'm very fair-skinned so I'm not concerned about that (it'd probably be too tan on me, tbh!), but I also heard a lot about Dermablend, so I'm going to give it a try and come back with my findings. :)

I used Dermablend leg and body cover. It worked pretty well but kind of blotchy as the night went on.

Can I pry...? Did it rub off on your dress? Was it used in a place where you sweat a lot? How long did you wear it without it turning blotchy? (I can always re-apply, but we're only having our wedding/reception [when I'm most concerned about it] for ~4-5 hours total.)

THANK YOU! :) I love feedback.

It didn't rub off but my dress was strapless. It was used on my shoulder blade so I think it was my hair brushing some of the powder we put over it off. It was probably a couple hours before it was blotchy.
