True friends stab you in the front

This is the second night in a row that my friends have blown me off. It's just pissing me off, and not making me feel too great about myself. I don't understand. I talk to people and they say they'll call me, and then I'm just sitting there, waiting by the telephone, hoping it will ring. Two nights in a row this happens. I'm fairly certain I didn't do anything wrong, so I don't know what the problem is. All I know is that sitting by yourself on a 3 day weekend is not a picker-upper. Granted, I did hang out with Katie and play Barbie Queen of the Prom with B Scanlan and Brett M., but I lost, and even though it was just a game, I still felt bad about it. I'm too competetive for my own good. This weekend was just kind of a letdown. I really hope things get better, but at the same time, I kinda don't want them to. I don't want to act like I'm all right with all of my friends during the school week. I want to ignore them, but ignoring them will just isolate me even more. Plus, they probably wouldn't even notice. Sorry for the rant, it's just that sitting at home for 2/3 days in a row makes me feel low, rhyming unintentional.
